Suspects sought in swarming
on Montreal Rd
The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are
seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects
responsible in a July swarming.
On July 1, 2016, at approximately 8:50 am, witnesses report
having initially observed the male victim and two male
suspects in a verbal altercation in the area of the 200 block
of Montreal Road., near Marier Avenue. One of the suspects
then punched the victim to the face, knocking him to the
ground. Once down, the victim was then kicked by both
suspects. The suspects were then observed to be going through
the victim’s pockets and a bag that he carried. The victim
spent several weeks in intensive care and still remains in
hospital, having suffered serious head injuries. The victim
may suffer long-term effects from the injuries.
The suspects are described as follows:
Desc1; Black male, approximately 6’2″(188 cm), approximately
25 years of age,
short black hair, muscular build,
approximately 220 lbs (100 kg)

Black male, shorter, in his 40s, “salt & pepper” hair

Retail robbery suspect sought
The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit and Crime Stoppers are seeking
the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible
for the May robbery of a gas station.
On May 14, 2016, at approximately 4:30 pm, a lone suspect
entered a gas station along the 0-100 block of Montreal Road,
near the Cummings Bridge. The suspect approached the employee
and made a demand for money. The suspect suggested he was
armed, though no weapon was seen. The suspect fled with an
undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 30-40
years of age, 5’3″-5’7″(160 cm – 170 cm), with a medium build.
At the time he wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants,
and construction boots (image attached.)

UPDATE: Canada Wide Warrant has been issued for the arrest

for Attempt Murder
The Ottawa Police Service and Crime Stoppers are seeking the
public’s assistance in locating wanted suspect Adil OMER
following a shooting on November 21, 2015 at Montreal Road and
Bradley Street.
At approximately 10:30pm on November 21 st , 2015, the Ottawa
Police Service responded to a shooting at Montreal Road and
Bradley Street. When uniformed officers arrived they located a
male victim who had been shot in the lower leg.
Further investigation revealed that an unidentified black
male, in his early 20’s and wearing a suit, had fired multiple
rounds from a semi-automatic handgun at the victim while he
was trying to run away. The male victim, who is known to the
Guns and Gangs Unit, was hit at least once. The victim is not
cooperating with investigators and the shooting is believed to
be gang related.
OMER is described as a Black male, 32 years old, 6’ (183cm),
205lbs (93kg) (see picture.) He is considered armed and
dangerous. Please do not approach him, contact police.
