Joining Stephanie in Sunday's Bay Area showcase will be Nathan Trebes, a student at the Academy of Ar
resident submitted two films -- a short documentary called "Ticket Takers" and a short action film, "Mat

Meanwhile, Stephanie's family has been gearing up for the world premiere of her animated short feature
drawings of Tiger and Jessica to wear during this week's festivities. And the Brocks have "Tiger the Cat"

While they eagerly chat about her debut as a filmmaker, Stephanie picks up a pencil and in a manner o
favorite, Chuck E. Cheese, and a new character of her own, Tyler the Tiger. A stickler for detail, she tak

Her mother, Tammy Brock, says while neither she nor her husband claims to have artistic ability, their o
could pick up a pencil. "When she was 2 years old, she was drawing great pictures for her age."
For Stephanie to make the leap from drawing on paper to creating computer animation took very little t
cartoon characters as a freshman in a high school multimedia class. She plans to attend college, and per
