MH-CET & All India Medical Entrances
The New Scenario
Looking at today’s scenario the Medical Entrance Examinations have been through a very rapid change constantly.
Hence a new roadmap has been evolved for Medical Education in India with restructuring (Changing the existing
curriculum) of Undergraduate Medical Courses. This changed scenario ensures greater prospects and optimized
learning opportunities for future Medicos and Vidyasagar Classes is proud to have produced Medicos across the nation.
We at Vidyasagar Classes are always realizing the student’s needs and shaping ourselves with unique initiatives to cater
to their needs. Intially we had Separate State and National level Medical Entrance Examinations like MH-CET, AIPMT
etc. But in 2013, to avoid stress amongst the students of appearing multiple Medical Entrance examinations a single
Medical Entrance examination called as NEET- UG was introduced based on NCERT pattern. But in 2014, NEET-UG was
discontinued and MH-CET was re-introduced. We have pioneered the coaching of MH- CET as well as All India Medical
Entrance Examinations across India. Hence, a student aspiring to become a Doctor can appear for any of the following
examinations.

ABOUT JEE (MAIN AND ADVANCED)
JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination )
Starting from 2013, the current all India Engineering Entrance examinations named AIEEE and IIT-JEE are merged into
one brand new and combined examination called JEE (Joint Entrance Examination). The new exam will be applicable for
admissions to institutions funded by Central Government like IITs, NITs, IIIT’s, IIITM & IIITDM, other Central Govt./ State
Govt. Institutions, Self Financed Deemed Universities, Other Institutions and State level Engineering Institutions.
The exam will be comprised of two type of objective type tests: JEE (Main) and JEE (Advanced).
For the IITs, only the top 1.5 lakh candidates (including all categories) in the merit list of JEE (Main) Paper 1 will be
eligible to write JEE (Advanced). 50% weightage will be given to Std. XII marks and 50% to JEE-Main scores. The IIT
merit list will be prepared on the basis of the special Advanced result.
For the IIITs and other Central Government-funded engineering colleges and other institutions there will be no screening

Admissions to the government engineering colleges in Maharashtra will be through JEE (Main).
At the end there will be two lists, one for IITs and one for other institutes. However, all students will be ranked, and IIT
