With the latest generation of Corvara roof boxes, the holidays have just become even more attractive: Inspired by contemporary automobile design and available in two colours,
all models are convincingly spacious. Corvara roof boxes are
equipped with the patent pending KAMEI DuoLift: the box can
be opened from both sides. The right-side opening version is
Corvara 310_silver
also still available in silver. Moreover the silver colour version

gets the new developed „Technical Grain“ surface structure.
These structure gives your roof box an individual look.

We subject our roof boxes to numerous crash tests and vibration tests
at the centres of TÜV and the German Centre for Aerospace (DLR). As
a result, today, our products already meet the strict requirements of
the draft version DIN 75 302:2006 / ISO 11154. In addition, KAMEI roof
boxes are exhaustively tested in the wind tunnel, paintable and fully
recyclable.
Durable and resistant.
The DUROKAM® thermoplastic material used by KAMEI is a modified
>ABS< (acrylonitrile butadiene-styrene). The new formula developed to
KAMEI specifications gives the material outstanding qualities: lightweight, impact resistant, dimensionally stable and long-lasting.
Paintable:
All KAMEI roof boxes are outstandingly well-suited to paints and finishing coats. However, for perfect results, the latest application instructions of the relevant paint manufacturer must be taken into account.
For your safety:
To help drivers remember the new vehicle height, all KAMEI roof boxes
are supplied with a warning sticker. Position the dimension entries in
the driver´s field of view.
Also:
We will be happy to take back your old roof box in return for proof of
purchase of a new KAMEI box. For this purpose, please send the old
box, carriage and duty paid, to our plant in Wolfsburg.

TIPS & TRICKS FOR KAMEI ROOF BOXES
CORRECT LOADING
If possible, place the heavy objects in the middle of your KAMEI roof
box, so that the overall payload will be distributed evenly over the loadbearing rack and the car. All packed articles must be securely tied
down to prevent slipping. For sports equipment, use only specially designed carrying systems. It is important to ensure that the load does
not present any obstruction to closing the KAMEI roof box, in order to
prevent malfunction of the locking system. Never exceed the maximum
roof load specified by the manufacturer. The maximum overall weight
(„gross vehicle weight“) of your vehicle must not be exceeded.

SAFE DRIVING
Your KAMEI roof box provides all the extra stowage space you desire
- but it also demands that you adapt your driving style to the modified
weight and height of your vehicle:
- Sensitivity to side winds will be increased.
- When loaded, the change in the centre of gravity of your vehicle will
require you to modify your cornering and braking habits.
- Depending on the roof rack, the height of the vehicle will be increased
by up to 60 cm. This must always be remembered when approaching
low bridges or low entrance barriers (e.g. car parks).
What is the maximum speed that you can drive with your roof box?
There is no speed limit imposed by legislation.
However, KAMEI recommends a top speed of 130 km/h.
MAINTENANCE TIPS
Regular maintenance prolongs the life span and maintains the operating functions and safety of your KAMEI roof box.
To prevent damage to the surface, use only solvent-free car wax and
detergents containing no alcohol, chorine or ammonia additives, and
do not use any cockpit sprays or cleaning agents containing oil. Clean
and lubricate the locks with commercially available silicone sprays.
Caution: Remove the roof box and roof rack
before using a drive-in automatic car wash.

KAMEI sport grilles require no official technical approval
(e.g. TÜV, MOT). The steel grilles have a sophisticated longterm corrosion protection of OEM quality with black powder
coating as a surface finish. High-grade steel grilles are either black or titanium-metallic powdercoated or galvanically

Headlight trims give vehicles that subtle yet individual touch

sporty, individual looks of the finest quality.
KAMEI headlight trims either require no official technical
approval (e.g. TÜV, MOT) or have generel authorisation (e.g.
ABE). All KAMEI headlight trims are made of easy-paint,
black >ABS<. Supplied only in pairs or sets. Most are fixed in
place with a single-component adhesive (polyurethane).

KAMEI rear wing spoilers greatly enhance aerodynamic features of your car. The spoiler marks the edge of the boot thus
making parking much easier, and the integrated brake light
greatly improves safety.
KAMEI´s universal rear wings, with or without additional brake lights, fit an extensive range of vehicles. The spoilers are
made from light ABS plastic and are simply to paint.
PAINTABLE
The fitting of a rear spoiler is very easy. For most models only
an additional adapter kit is required; the relevant kit is listed
in the attached chart. If a adapter kit is required, please order
it together with the spoiler.
