The summer community education brochure is now available listing classes and activities for all ages for the summer.
Many activities have discounted registration fees ahead of May
13, including morning rec, arts/crafts, golf, gymnastics, running, volleyball, basketball, and tennis. Trips to the Minnesota
Arboretum, Twins game, Omaho Zoo, Worthington Garden Trip
and the Minnesota State Fair available.
Student Driver Education class is being offered beginning
June 15 to any student who is in 8th grade or older. Fee is $290
due with registration and covers 30 hours of classroom and 6
hours of behind the wheel driving.
A new seven-week Zumba class will begin meeting once
a week on May 12.
1,2,3 Magic — A Discipline Battle Plan is for parents who
would like to learn some new techniques to work with their
children ages 2–12 years. Stacy Schepel, school social worker,
will present this 2 evening class on May 11 and 18. Fee is $65.
Scholarships are available.

Senior McKenzi Wenninger and the Luverne Cardinal softball team entered a stretch of playing four games
in seven days by entertaining Marshall for a contest
Tuesday. The Tigers scored five runs in the first inning to
set the stage for an 11-4 win. Read about that game and
a doubleheader in Redwood Falls Thursday and a road
game in Edgerton Monday in this week’s Star Herald.
