SUE HEALEY is Australia’s leading choreographer/
filmmaker, with a special interest in dance education.
In a scoop for EcoleVocational Sue will teach
contemporary dance classes Monday and Tuesday
and give a special workshop on her Fine Line which is
a mandatory study for HSC Dance, This workshop is a
must for anyone embarking on HSC Dance.
JOEL THOMAS is a dancer, actor, aerialist and
teacher, enjoying a career across many areas of
dance and theatre He graduated from QUT and
Brent Street School of Performing Arts. Joel was a
member of the original cast of Disney's The Lion King,
and performed for many years in Mystic Rhythms at
Tokyo Disney Sea. In addition to commercial,
corporate and television credits, Joel has danced
regularly with Opera Australia working with producers
such as Graeme Murphy and Baz Lurman.
Radim & Camille kafka recently arrived from Czech
Republic where they danced important roles with with
Brno Ballet and the National Ballet in Prague. They
each have invaluable experience of East European
training methods in classical ballet and modern dance
as well as the rich history of folk dance from the
Slavic regions.
ASHLEY KILLAR danced with the Stuttgart, Scottish
and
Royal
Ballet
Companies
before
directing
companies in S Africa. Later he became artistic
director of Royal NZ Ballet. Since 1996 he and his
wife have directed Ecole.. ‘Mr K.’ is actively engaged in
dance research.
Jane Allyn Jane Allyn ARAD RTS trained at the
Royal Ballet School and danced leading roles in Cape
Town Ballet. She founded a training course in New
Zealand and has co-directed Ecole for 19 years giving
numerous
students
the
technical
and
artistic
grounding for careers in dance. She has written two
books on dance.
