Sherman Tanks Welcome Back!
Welcome to the 2015-16
year of the Tanks. All
students will return to
school on Wednesday
Aug. 19. New Student
Orientation will be Aug.
18 at 6:30 with Open
House from 6:30—7:30.
We are excited to welcome 3 new staff members to the faculty at the
high school. Jenifer Riffle will begin as the Intervention Specialist replacing Mr, Hudnell. With the
retirement of Mrs. Mauer
we welcome Mrs. Kerry
Mohan. Mrs. Mohan is
an experienced educator
coming to us from the
Paint Valley school district.. Additionally we
welcome Ms. Julie Grant
to replace Mrs. Amy Martin who has moved to a
Middle School math position.
the classrooms, we will
also find some new/
familiar faces on our
coaching staffs and academic extra-curricular
programs. Mr. Jeff
Metzler has taken the
reigns as the Sherman
Tanks Head Football
Coach. Mrs. Amanda
Seebohm is the new student council advisor, Mrs.
VanBuskirk and Mrs.
Anna Purpero have taken
on the Prom Committee.
Mrs. Dye and Mrs. Lamerson will be junior class
advisors and Mrs. Bri
Jenkins has assumed the
Quiz Bowl team advisor
role.

Homecoming and Prom
Homecoming for the fall of
Prom 2016 will be Saturday
2015 will be the weekend of October 9th and 10th. Spirit week will
be the week of October 5th with
the crowning of the King and
Queen prior to the Friday night
game verses Westfall. Our annual Homecoming Dance sponsored by the HS Student Council
will be Saturday October 10th
from 8—11pm with pictures beginning at 7 in the
Middle School
Gym. Mark your
calendars!!!!!!
April 23 from 8—11 with the
Grand March prior. Location of
the Grand March, Prom and After
Prom will be announced once the
Prom committee meets and
makes final decisions. Stay tuned
for exciting Prom theme, locations
and other details in the early
Spring!!!

Parents Night/Senior Nights
Fall and Winter athletic seasons
end with a tribute to our Seniors
and their parents. Sponsored by
the High School Student Council
we want to invite all and ask that
you mark your calendars for these
important nights. Individual
teams and Spring sports will host
their own individual senior honors
during the final home game on
their schedules.

All students will be recognized at
ALL SVC BANNER won again in 2015
The Sherman Nation captured its
8th consecutive All SVC sports
banner and 21 of 24 years during
the spring of 2015. Unioto teams
placed in all Varsity level programs to combine throughout the
entirety of 2014—15 year to run
away with the award!!!
