Path of Life - Men’s Recovery home day
Menifee, CA
Event held February 16th, 201.
How many of us get to enjoy a beautiful day at a working horse ranch?? Not many, and certainly
not often! “A Slave Set Free” was the theme of today’s inspiring luncheon at a local ranch in
Menifee, CA. A dynamic testimony and a time of teaching followed as speaker George Ogle
presented his message from the book of Philemon, speaking of the freedom we can all enjoy in
Christ.
Christian-based organization Hope through Education (H.T.E.) hosted the event at the Menifee
Hitch-N-Post Ranch. The February weather turned out to be spectacular and the ranch setting was
big enough to support the 61 people who attended. The group of men from Path of Life, a 2-year
in-house recovery program, thoroughly enjoyed the teaching, live worship; buffet lunch and even
the occasional horseshoe throw.
H.T.E. member’s noted that “the men were very warm & attentive to the presentation. They really
seemed to take in the day.” “It’s an honor to serve these men, who are working so hard to change
their lives. . . . Seeing their commitment level and how hard they work really inspired us to want to
show some support” commented H.T.E. members Dave and Cristal Punaro, who planned the
event. “The large group of volunteers made the event run smoothly and allowed for a lot of
interaction with the Path of Life men. It was all about the power of some volunteers who were
inspired by the love of Christ.”
Special thanks to Paul and Angela Wojtkowski for opening up the ranch and for all their behindthe-scenes efforts. We appreciate Pastor Rob Altice and Menifee Community Church & Jennifer
Czech and Set Apart for Christ ministry for their assistance in getting those side dishes and
desserts en masse. Their volunteers, along with the HTE members, not only fed the crowd, but
showed the love of Christ through their actions toward the men. The Garage Band worship team
from Revival Christian fellowship, led by Roland Fisher did an excellent job of keeping the
festivities going.

Mission: To help people become productive in life by addressing barriers of dysfunction
through the process of rescuing, restoring and rebuilding lives.
Vision: A whole, healthy community with whole and healthy people.
Objective: To build a holistic system of care, one component upon another, in an
integrated and seamless manner.
Path of Life Ministries, a dynamic group of community-minded individuals serving our city since
1998. We have become a premier non-profit service agency committed to serving the greater
Riverside homeless, challenged youth & family population with the goal to rescue, restore, rebuild
lives in our community. One of our core guiding principles is grounded in partnering with the
community. We accomplish this by extending services with local collaborative partners, other
providers and agencies. This contributes to a holistic, community based solution that improves the
social, economic & spiritual health and vitality of the poor, homeless, at risk youth and families.
Path of Life Ministries addresses significant barriers of dysfunction with people in crisis including
children and families. Families are met first at their place of largest need with food, shelter and
stabilization services; the rescue point. Next, the process of restoring and rebuilding begins
through compassionate case management, housing, health care services, community resources and
wrap around services that are provided to promote self-sufficiency and family restoration.
