and up to 15,000 for concerts. This 37,000 m2 stadium is
home to the local ice-hockey team and hosted World Men’s
Handball Championship in January 2011.
Elan Inventa also delivered and installed telescopic stands,
dividing curtains, a wooden sports floor and other sports
equipment for the Arena Spaladium in Split, Croatia. It
was built primarily for the World Men’s Handball Championship held in 2009. It therefore had to gain International Handball Federation (IHF) certification, as well as certification from
the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

The multi-purpose arena at Stožice, Ljubljana (Slovenia)
opened its doors in 2010. The arena with a maximum capacity of 12,500 is a sports facility befitting any European

Kapfenberg, Austria
Other successful projects in European markets
KAPFENBERG, Austria
The sports venue in Kapfenberg features Elan Inventa’s telescopic stands which are currently in high demand and most definitely
a top-quality product that can help us expand into new markets.
ROSKILDE, Denmark
With 23 rows, more than 1,400 seats and and over 8 metres in
height, the town of Roskilde, Denmark, boasts what is currently
the highest telescopic stand in the world. On account of its height,
a separate TUV certificate will be obtained for the structure. The
stand, featuring an electric friction drive and laser-based technical solution for optimal opening and closing, is Elan Inventa’s
another major achievement in the category of telescopic stands.
Elan Inventa twice in a row at
Handball World Championships
Roskilde, Denmark
In 2011 Elan Inventa first supplied IHF-certified handball goals for
the Women’s Handball World Championship, which was held in
Brazil in December 2011.
A year later, a special series of superior-quality handball goals
was made for the Men’s World Championship which was held in
Spain. The product is made to all highest standards, is IHF certified, and, for this special occasion, was featured in the Spain’s
typical yellow-red colour scheme.
TIMRA, Sweden
The Culture Hall at the Sörberge Elementary School in Timra,
Sweden. The 95-seat stand opens and closes with a single
touch of a button. It was great to hear the comments of the
passers-by. “It looks very nice.” “Wow.” “Perfect.”
LESSINES, Belgium
This is Elan Inventa’s first project in the demanding Belgian market. Our experts have found an ideal solution to the investor’s
request that the name ‘LESSINES’ should be displayed through
the arrangement of seats when the stand is open or closed.
Spacing between first-row seats can be extended to ensure
disabled seating.
First sports hall in Kazan
In September 2013 we supplied and installed all the equipment
for the sports hall in Kazan, Russia. The school is located in the
newly built area of the town called the ‘Sun City’.
