Welcome to the Association for Public Interest Law's (APIL) annual fundraising auction to
benefit APIL's Summer Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Program provides grants to
George Mason Law students working in unpaid public interest internships during the
summer. The program has grown dramatically over the past decade. Last year, APIL raised
almost $20,000, and our goal tonight is to raise even more! Thank you for joining us, and

Auction Fact Sheet – Everything You Need To Know
+ Numbered auction paddles will be distributed at check-in.
+ Item Values listed are the approximate values given by the donor. Please remember that
this is for a great cause and these individuals and businesses have given generously in an
attempt to help with the APIL scholarship fund.
+ Payment (cash or check ONLY) for your item is due by the end of the
evening, at which time you will receive the purchased item.
+ Checks should be made payable to “George Mason University” OR “GMU”.
+ To retrieve your item, please bring your winning bid sheet and payment to
the registration table before the end of the Live Auction or to the check-out
table at the conclusion of the Live Auction.

+ Some Auction items may have restricted use, expirations, or other qualifications.
+ All professor and student donations have a three-month expiration period, unless
otherwise agreed upon by the donor.
+ All BARBRI credits are limited to one credit per student.
