“MITO SETTEMBREMUSICA”
This year focuses on classical music and the theme is “Fathers and
children”, expressed differently by each of the approximately 160
scheduled concerts: the audience will see a title and a presenter
giving a four-minute introduction for listening to the evening’s music.
This year, festival will be ‘hiring’ the public: a big concert in the
square where everyone is invited to sing along with a leading choir
on the stage, will close this special day.

“TERRA MADRE SALONE DEL GUSTO”
The Market, with exhibitors from the five continents; the Workshops
of Taste, to get the glorious backgrounds of food known to the
audience; the Enoteca, events focused on the rich variety of wine and
food from the world, street foods, conferences and forums of food
communities, meeting spaces and much more for “Love the Earth”
(this edition’s theme). This year the event is taking place in the heart
of Torino and involves the most beautiful places in town: Valentino
Park, Piazza Castello, the Royal Palace, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza
Vittorio Veneto, the Murazzi on the Po, Carignano Theatre, the Mole

TORINO SPIRITUALITY - 12th EDITION
Five days of dialogues, lessons, readings and reflections. Among the
guests, the researcher Shaun Ellis, who has lived for 18 months with
a pack of wolves; the ethologist Frans de Waal, who has conducted
research on animal morality; the international marketing expert Jim
Myers, who left everything to establish an animal shelter in India;
the writer and movie director Philip Hoare, who consecrated his life
to the study of cetaceans. And again, the art historian Vittorio Sgarbi,
the geneticist Guido Barbujani, the psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati,

BATTLE OF MARSAGLIA
20th EDITION
The historical re-enactment of the Battle of Marsaglia is one of
the most important in Piemonte. At dawn on 4 October 1693, the
French army fought with the Duchy of Savoy under the orders of
Victor Amadeus II: 14,000 people died in just a few hours. Saturday:
historical dinner in a period setting and menu of the time, popular
music, military camps; Sunday: flag-raising and mass on the field,
17th century military camps and settings, games, dances, theatre,
