Portes du Soleil ski area. As it is just 1hour 20mins from Geneva it is easy to visit for the weekend.

The chalet is currently set up and run as a successful catered chalet business, with the owners living in the accommodation on the ground
floor. At present, the owners only sell the chalet on a 4 bedrooms/8-9 people basis using the accommodation located on the top floor as
the guest rooms. However, there is huge potential to increase your income by using all the bedrooms within in the chalet to create a 6 or 7
bedroom chalet taking 12-14 people.
There are plenty of tripadvisor reviews to prove how successful the existing business has been, in terms of the quality of the chalet, the

Resort information – Portes du Soleil
Les Portes du Soleil is a major ski destination in the northern French alps. There are twelve resorts in the Portes du Soleil of which 9 are
French and 5 are Swiss. Most of the resorts have grown around traditional valley villages, and Morzine and Chatel are the largest of the
traditional towns in the area. Most of the resorts are just over 1 hour from Geneva airport.
The Portes du Soleil is a marvellous winter playground of 650km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for
trekking and mountain biking.

Winter & skiing
The vast ski area of the Portes du Soleil has 650km of ski-slopes. Whether on skis or a board there really is something for everyone,
whether it be the cruisey reds and blues of Morzine or the snow parks of Avoriaz. The Portes du Soleil ski area is enormous with 650km of
piste and plenty of off-piste too. Comprising various resorts over France and Switzerland, the lift system of 209 lifts allows skiers to cross
borders freely and enjoy this winter adventure park.

Summer
Over the years the Portes du Soleil has become renowned as the prime place for mountain bikers with 650km of sign-posted tracks, 10
permanent downhill runs, 4 bike-parks and 24 ski-lifts equipped for taking mountain bikes. Other activities in the area include hiking,
climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, swimming, tennis, adventure park, horse riding, paragliding and paintball.

Golf
There are 2 golf courses within easy access of Morzine, an 18-hole course in Les Gets and a 9-hole course in Avoriaz. With stunning
mountain views and pleasant summer weather this is a wonderfully relaxing way to spend the day. The 18-hole course in Les Gets is a
fairly technical golf course that offers panoramic views and great facilities. The clubhouse is a welcoming place to enjoy a drink and the
restaurant has a lovely terrace on which to enjoy lunch.

Viewing
Arranging to visit is easy and inexpensive. As EasyJet www.easyjet.com have many cheap flights to Geneva and the transfer to Morzine is
