• Academic Advising at Virginia Tech is a collaborative
process between student and advisor leading to the exchange
of information that encourages the individual student to make
responsible academic and career decisions.
• It is YOUR responsibility to be aware of all major, degree,
college, and graduation requirements necessary to complete
your degree.
• As an academic advisor, it is MY responsibility to help you
interpret the requirements, but you must bring any questions
you have to me or your future advisor.
