Welcome to our 5-Star-Airport. Munich Airport
offers you excellent connections to all over the
world – and much more besides ...
Top-class ambiance
Comfortable seats and recliners in the departure
areas invite you to read or switch off. The redesigned business zones with more than 30 places
enable passengers to work in a relaxed atmosphere. The Recreation Areas in Terminal 2 have
been tastefully designed as wellness oases.
Wide range of services
Munich Airport shows that its passengers and
visitors are dear to its heart with its attention to
many small details, such as service facilities for
families with small children. The departure areas
are equipped comprehensively with sockets and

Efficient processes
We constantly improve the processes throughout
the travel chain, such as for security checks and
passport control. For example, an increasing number
of passengers use the automated border control
system EasyPASS, which allows them to enter and
leave the country on their own.
Simple orientation
Munich Airport makes it easy for its guests to find
their bearings thanks to clear, intuitive guidance.
Numerous InfoGate terminals provide information on flights, arrivals and departures, shopping,
gastronomy and other services at the airport, for
example.
Exceptional hospitality
With their exceptional service orientation, 32,000
employees help passengers and visitors have
a wonderful stay. Campaigns like the »Day of
Kindness« or events in the Visitors Park show that
Munich Airport is more than a place to take off and
land at.

Terminal 1 and the München Airport Center
Level 04 in Terminal 1 is at street level. You can check in at this level.
On level 03, moving walkways connect the areas (A–E) of the terminal. You can take them to reach München Airport Center (MAC) and
the parking areas quickly and conveniently.
München Airport Center has an underground rapid transit train
station (level 02).
You can find many service facilities, places to eat and drink and
shops throughout the terminal.
Terminal 2
Lufthansa, the Star Alliance and other Lufthansa partners operate
out of Terminal 2.
The central hall with the ticket and check-in desks is located at level
04. There are also check-in desks at arrival level 03. And many shops,
restaurants, bars and service facilities await you in the public area
and the passenger area on all three levels.
If you are flying from gate K or L, you pass through the security check
and can reach the T2 satellite in less than a minute by means of an
underground passenger transport system. All service and handling
facilities, as well as an attractive shopping and gastronomy offering,
are also available there.
