Planning on keeping a New Year’s resolution? Well, plan on keeping your mind first. While many Americans spend their lives trying to fulfill the American dream, there are millions of people around the world who just dream of becoming an American. Even with its many flaws, the United States is still considered to be the “land of the free and the home of the brave” by multitudes. What keeps America viewed as a beacon of hope to countless immigrants throughout the world is not simply its way of life, but it is the fact that the USA remains the world’s greatest superpower. Ironically, the thing that causes our nation to experience freedom from war within its shores is its ability to wage war against its enemies with its weapons of mass destruction. In short, America fares well because it well armed for warfare. Great leaders are greatly armed. They know that the enemy is less likely to at‐
tack them if they have fortified themselves with a fierce arsenal. (Continued next page) Armed This is an example daily devotion from Pastor Glenn Usry ‘s upcoming release entitled The Anatomy of Great Leaders the same mind that Jesus pos‐
sessed. But great attracts hate, and some great enemies attack anyhow. Nevertheless, great lead‐
ers are prepared and armed enough to launch great counter attacks. The Apostle Peter exhorted be‐
lievers to arm themselves with of men, but for the will of God. (I Peter 4:1, 2) Do you often find yourself under great attacks that war against your mind? Well, great! God may be trying to make you into a great leader! Great leaders are greatly armed. Relationship Seminars During the majority of 2010 COPI focused on building healthy relation‐
ships for married and single parish‐
ioners. This year we will continue to build on last year’s foundational teaching based on Joshua 24:15 Today, let’s remember. “As for me and my house,
