He is now included in the Mt. Pulag National Park’s book of
honorary climbers.
Only the brave and daring survive!

Annex E – The Mt. Pulag National Park Experience
PAST EXPERIENCE
Unsynchronized rescue team to assist vehicular
accidents or emergencies on site from Baguio
City to the park. The park management has to
make do of what is available at the time of crises
especially during holidays and week ends.
The PA Office/PASu caters to travelers extending
beyond the park’s coverage. Most government
offices are closed during holidays and week ends.
Unreliable PAGASA reports due to the distance of
the monitoring station in Baguio City to the park
and the unique and unpredictable weather of the
park
PAST EXPERIENCE
No contingency fund for PNP to use during
rescue operations (vehicle/gasoline, food to
provide for volunteers in mountain)
Pinoy reception – (padala system, pabantay
system, walang iwanan concepts)
The PASu and park doing post evaluation
interviews are helpful in improving the park
management;
