Beginning in 1950, the Hattiesburg Zoo has entertained and
educated visitors from across the country. Since then, there
has never been a more exciting time to visit the Zoo – and to
get involved.
From its inception as a random assortment of species, the Zoo
has become a facility admired for the quality of its animals,
exhibits and experience.
In order to realize our goal of building the Hattiesburg Zoo
into one of America’s finest small zoos and acquiring AZA
accreditation, we rely on the support of generous and
energetic people like you.
