News-Aktuell
Glass engraved on the surface with CERION
laser technology adds stunning innovative
highlights to buildings because of the light
scattering effect on the lasered structures.
This innovative way of surface illumination
was optimized by Isophon Glas GmbH and is
marketed under the name of paralite®.
The glass was structured on a c-vertica from

CERION to produce a homogeneous luminance. The paralite® system works with LED
edge lighting which is normally added only via
one edge yet is able to achieve outstanding
luminance and light distribution. These objects
designed with innovative light beautifully
demonstrate the unique options of laser
finishing of glass.

c-vertica 180 now also with automatic module
Automatic operation of the CERION machines
had been reserved so far for the large models
230 and 330 only. Starting immediately,
because of the increasing demand, CERION
now offers the c-vertica 180 also with optional
automatic function. The machine will be
delivered upon request with a magazine
truck featuring 12 compartments where
glass panels up to door format can be stored.
A barcode label on the glass is read by the
machine making sure that the right decor is
lasered on the glass. Night hours and weekends can thus be utilized without requiring
the presence of personnel. This increases
the machines‘ productivity significantly.
CERION has already received 4 orders for
the c-vertica 180 with automatic function
since this new development was completed
c-vertica 130 and 180 can now be operated
without safety goggles
Because of a minor design change of the
c-vertica 130 and 180 systems they now
achieve laser class 1 and may be operated
without safety goggles. This also means that
these new machines no longer need to be set
up in a separate room with door monitoring.
Laser class 1 increases safety and convenience in operation and simplifies set-up at the
customer site considerably. Older machines
can also be retrofitted upon request. We‘ll be
glad to prepare a respective offer.
Customer
feedback
„ Busert Türen GmbH is a medium-sized com-
pany with 5 employees. Thanks to the introduction of laser technology in the year 2013,
we have been able to expand our range of refined glass considerably. Due to the increasing
demand for doors with laser engraving, we
have invested in 3 laser machines from CERION
over the last 2 years. The third machine of
the type c-vertica 180-300 has an automatic
material feed, which helps to utilize the
machine overnight and at weekends, too.
Unlike sandblasting machines, laser machines
need less staff and enable a completely new
way of designing glass. Right from the start
it was the right decision for our company to
invest in laser technology.
