Use it to suppress, control and prevent algae

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO SEE AFTER
APPLYING THIS PRODUCT IN MY POND?
This products treatments are immediately
apparent right after application. Bubbling,
bleaching and discoloration of algae will occur.
It is also beneficial to remove dead algae after
treatment to help lessen the load of decaying
organic matter in the pond.
WILL IT AFFECT THE pH LEVEL OF MY WATER?
It will not affect the pH level of the Pond or Water.

Repeat dose every 3 days until algae is under
control. Once algae control is achieved, apply once a
week on a preventative basis.
Tip: Apply more often during the summer months when water
consumption and temperatures are high.
WHAT ARE SOME RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR APPLYING THIS PRODUCT?
• Apply to area of pond with greatest water flow
to facilitate rapid and adequate mixing.
• Apply early morning under sunny, calm conditions.
• Remove excess algae growth from pond/
fountain to reduce the amount of decaying
organic matter in the pond.

• A second application may be necessary for
heavy algal surface mats and blooms.
• Can also be mixed in a bucket of pond/fountain
water and distributed around the inside perim eter
of the pond/fountain.
HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT WORK?
It is an activated peroxide liquid algaecide that
suppresses, controls and prevents algae-causing
conditions in ponds that works right away, oxidizing algae cells and killing them on contact. This
product is a “Green” alternative to harsh Chlorine
and Copper chemicals.
IS THIS PRODUCT SAFE TO USE AROUND
MY FISH, PETS AND CHILDREN?
It is a fish, pet and family friendly addition to the
complete GreenClean line of algaecides, bacteria
and colorant.
WILL THIS LEAVE A RESIDUAL BEHIND?
No, GreenCleanFX breaks down in to water and
oxygen.
HOW IS THIS PRODUCT DIFFERENT
THAN GREENCLEAN GRANULAR?
It is a specially formulated, activated Peroxygen
based liquid algaecide that utilizes the same
algae killing mode of action as GreenClean Granular.
There is a slight visual difference between the two
as they both work to kill algae through the power of
oxidation. This product has the same environmental
benefits as GreenClean Granular, breaking down into
water and oxygen, while leaving behind no residual
behind in the environment.
