produces gorgeous yellow flowers against
stunning grey foliage for most of the year.
Best grafted for most areas, pruning

should be fertilised with slow release native

This is another of those tough Glabra forms.
This one originates from the Roseworthy
district, which is north of Adelaide, in South
Australia.
It has bright green leaves, orange-red flowers
and is long lived. It has the appearance of a
cut lawn.

Grevillea Obtusifolia is a dense prostrate or

Dense matting ground cover with small flowers
Prostrate shrub forming dense mats along the
ground, spreading to 3m. Small white or pink
flowers can be seen through spring summer
and autumn.
Adaptable to a range of soils and climates,
soils must be well drained. At its best in full
sun, shade can cause the foliage to thin out.
Can be cut back to maintain shape and
tolerates drought, frost and salt. It flowers
during Spring, Summer and Autumn. It has
star shaped white or pale pink flowers with
purple spots. Flowers are followed by small
edible purple or green fruit.
The foliage colour is dark green and it has
narrow leaves to 4cm long, usually shorter. It
grows up to 3m in width and up to 0.5m in
height.
A useful plant in coastal gardens due to its salt
tolerance and good sand and soil binding
properties. Excellent rockery plant.

A spreading free flowering ground cover,

months. Dark green contrasting foliage makes
it a stand-out plant.
It prefers a sunny position, but will also grow in
dappled shade. Prefers free draining soil in all
types from sandy to clay. Requires occasional
deep watering during hot dry spells. Mulch well
and feed with native fertiliser in spring.
A bright addition to rockeries, embankments,
hanging baskets or pots. Makes a good cut
flower, lasting several weeks.
