uest’anno il mondo del cavallo arabo si è dato nuovamente
appuntamento nella piccola
cittadina belga di Moorsele nei pressi
del confine francese, per lo svolgimento del Campionato Europeo, a distanza
di due anni dall’ultimo appuntamento
per l’alternanza con Verona, altra sede
che ospita quest’importante evento. In
questo modo si rende più agevole, in
termini di distanza, la strada da percorrere sia agli espositori che al pubblico
interessato ed inoltre si ha la possibilità
di ripartire l’organizzazione di questo
notevole evento su spalle diverse.
Per il 2006 il team organizzativo belga,
capitanato dalla sig.ra Christine JamarDemeersseman e dal marito Guy
Jamar, coadiuvati dal sig. Carl Van
Roosbroeck e dal sig. James
Swaenepoel, si è nuovamente addossato la responsabilità affrontando questa
nuova sfida. Il meraviglioso padiglione
nel centro equestre di Moorsele era
completamente addobbato nei colori
blu e giallo dell’Europa e anche la cerimonia di apertura con l’esibizione di
sbandieratori è stata tutta nel segno
dell’Unione Europea.
Molti espositori avevano risposto
all’invito con i loro migliori cavalli,
prima fra tutti la Gran Bretagna con il
maggior numero di espositori, seguita
dal paese ospitante e poi dalla
Germania, Polonia, Francia, Italia,
Olanda, Danimarca, Svizzera, Spagna,
Svezia e Austria. In seguito ad una
nuova regola dell’ECAHO, che richiede una più lunga e prolungata presenza
in Europa dei cavalli partecipanti come
presupposto dell’iscrizione, erano
assenti diversi cavalli di proprietari

his year, the world of the
purebred Arabian met once
again near the French border, in the Belgian town of Moorsele
to celebrate the European
Championship. The two-year rotation
with Verona does justice to exhibitors
and spectators, as the distance is not
at all neglectable. This way, two different teams can take turns in organizing a truly remarkable event.
For 2006, the task of organizing once
again this challenge was given to the
Belgian team headed by Mrs.
Christine Jamar-Demeersseman and
her husband Guy Jamar, Mr. Carl
Van Roosbroeck and Mr. James
Swaenepoel. The wonderful pavilion
situated within the Moorsele horse
riding center was completely decorated
with blue and yellow, the colours of
Europe. And the European Union
was also the theme of the opening
ceremony, which featured a flagwaving performance.
Many exhibitors took up the invitation to participate with their best
horses, first and foremost G reat
Britain, which had the highest number of exhibitors, followed by the host
country, Belgium, and then Germany,
Poland, France, Italy, Netherlands,
Denmark, Switzerland, Spain,
Sweden and Austria. In accordance
with a new EC AHO rule, which
requires a longer presence in Europe of
the participating horses as an entry
criterion, some horses owned by
European breeders who had obtained
the best successes this year were not
allowed to take part.

europei che avevano avuto quest’anno molto successo.
Dopo essere stati affascinati dall’eccezionale qualità della
messa in onda in diretta della All Nations Cup, molti
interessati hanno seguito da casa questo evento al PC
anche se, in questa occasione, le caratteristiche tecniche
non sono state all’altezza della precedente trasmissione.
Oltre alle solite classi che di norma concorrono agli
show, il programma presentava numerose gare ippiche, la
categoria Futurity e altre attrazioni.
Per la valutazione era responsabile un team internazionale di giudici molto esperti composto dalla sig.ra
Christiane Chazel (Francia), dalla sig.ra Sylvie Eberhardt
(Germania), dalla sig.ra Titti Gagliani (Italia), dalla sig.ra
Deirdre Hyde (Emirati Arabi Uniti) e dal Dr.
Gianmarco Aragno (Italia).
Le classi dei puledri:
Dopo i cavalli sellati presentati nella prima mattinata di
sabato, si è passati alla classe Futurity. Tra le puledre (non
ECAHO) ha vinto EMIRA SVA (da Jevra SVA), allevata e di proprietà del Sweet Valley Arabians (Belgio), nata
nel mese di luglio dalla fattrice madre di campioni AS
Shawan (da Nadir I) dimostratasi ancora una volta
garante di una discendenza di successo. Con un punteggio di poco inferiore, al secondo posto si è piazzata
LADY BROWN (Psytadel x Ibara v. Liryk), nata anche
lei in Belgio, nell’allevamento della famiglia NoelVerhofstadt, mentre al terzo posto si è attestata PSADISHA (Psadisho Ibn Esstashan x Baccara da Koronec),
nata in Germania all’allevamento Sax.
Il concorso dei puledri è stato vinto dal figlio di Psytadel
AL ZAFIR DE CROISSART (da Malia da Aga Khan),
allevato e di proprietà di Focke-Dumont (Belgio), seguito da HYPNOTIC IBN ETERNITY-D (Eternity Ibn
Navarrone-D x WH Marissa Rose da Magnum Psyche).

standing quality of the broadcasting of the All Nations
Cup, many people were able to follow the championship
from their home PC. On this occasion, however, the
technical quality were not always as good as that of the
previous broadcast. In addition to the usual show classes, the program features lots of riding competitions, the
futurity category and other attractions.
A team of expert international judges was responsible
for the scoring. The jur y was composed by Mrs.
Christiane Chazel (France), Mrs. Sylvie Eberhardt
(Germany), Mrs. Titti Gagliani (Italy) and Mrs.
Deirdre Hyde (United Arab Emirates), plus the vet Dr.
Gianmarco Aragno (Italy).
The colts class
After the under saddle horses presented in the early
morning of Saturday, it was the turn of the Futurity
class. Winner among the fillies (non-ECAHO) was
EMIRA SVA (out of Jevra SVA), bred and owned by
Sweet Valley Arabians (Belgium), born in July from the
mare and dam of champions AS Shawan (out of Nadir
I). Once again the winner proved to be the heir of a
successful descent. With a slightly lower score, second
was LADY BROWN (Psytadel x Ibara v. Liryk), also
born in Belgium, bred and owned by the NoelVerhofstadt family. She was followed by PSADISHA
(Psadisho Ibn Esstashan x Baccara out of Koronec),
born in Germany at the Sax stud.
The colt championship finished with the victory of the
son of Psytadel, AL ZAFIR DE CROISSART (out of
Malia out of Aga Khan), bred and owned by FockeDumont (Belgium), ahead of the local ‘matador’

allevato e di proprietà di Axel Somers (Belgio), piazzatosi
al terzo posto, può vantare nel suo pedigree sangue di
Padrons Psyche.
1-year old fillies
Replicando il risultato conseguito all’Arabian Futurity in
occasione della All Nations Cup di Aachen, LADY
AMONA (Psytadel x Monogrammed Lady da
Monogramm), una puledra molto tipica allevata e di proprietà di Dirk Dejonckheere, ha sfruttato questa sua
opportunità, condotta da Erik Dorssers, vincendo la sua
classe con 91,1 punti con il primo 20 assegnato nel criterio di tipicità. Una prima impressione della qualità dei
cavalli polacchi è stata offerta da SEFORA (da Swantka
da Pepton), la figlia di Ekstern, allevata e di proprietà di
Janow Podlaski, una puledra che ha superato di un pelo la
carismatica LVA NIRVANA (Enzo x Nijona da Vympel)
proveniente dall’allevamento britannico Lillyview
Arabians.
1-year old colts
Nella classe dei puledri di un anno gli spettatori hanno
potuto assistere ad una vittoria di misura. Ben 18 erano i
concorrenti che si sono affrontati senza concedere nulla
agli avversari e alla fine il distacco del vincitore di classe
dal terzo classificato era appena di soli 0,3 punti. FEVER
IBN ETERNITY-D (Eternity Ibn Navaronne-D x WH
Marissa Rose), un fratello pieno di Hypnotic Ibn
Eternity-D, secondo classificato nella classe Futurity, si è
presentato più maturo, difendendo la sua posizione di
supremazia fino all’ultimo, per la grande soddisfazione
della sua allevatrice Martine Desphegel van Hee.

Repeating the success obtained at the Arabian Futurity
during the All Nations Cup in Aachen, L ADY

brother of Hypnotic Ibn Eternity-D (who was second
in the Futurity class) proved to be more mature and
defended his supremacy until the end, to the joy of his
breeder Martine Desphegel van Hee. ALERT (Piaff x
Andaluzja out of Sanadik El Shaklan), bred and
owned by Janow Podlaski (Poland) came dangerously
close to winning and obtained the second place, ahead of
the French competitor PYROS DE LAFON (out of
Kelce out of Vladimir de Falgas), whose sire Perfect de

Per l’alto numero d’iscrizioni, le puledre di due anni sono
state divise in due gruppi. Nel primo gruppo la supremazia della magnifica campionessa mondiale EMANDORIA (Gazal Al Shaqab x Emanda da Ecaho), allevata e
di proprietà di Michalow (Polonia), non è stata assolutamente messa in forse, dal momento che, con quattro 20 e
con il voto complessivo più alto assegnato nella giornata
pari a incredibili 93,5 punti, l’asticella veniva collocata ad
una altezza irraggiungibile dalle altre. Cosa che non
significava assolutamente minor qualità per la sua sorellastra e compagna di stalla PISTORIA (da Palmira da
Monogramm), allevata e di proprietà di Michalow, piazzatasi al secondo posto, e per la figlia di WH Justice FER
FIERA BLANCA (da Clio Fiera Blanca da Bronnz) di
proprietà della Yeguada Ferrero (Spagna).
La vincitrice del secondo gruppo veniva pure da
Michalow, anche se la femminile baia sembrava essere a
prima vista quasi evanescente. EJRENE (Gazal Al
Shaqab x Emocja da Monogramm) si è lasciata dietro
tutte le altre, relegando la carismatica MYSTERIOUS
LADY J (Ekstern x Morning Light VF da Bandos) dell’allevamento di linea polacca di Christine Jamar (Belgio)
e FER AQUA MAGICA (Abbas El Dine x Martinique
da Ansata Sinan) di proprietà della Yeguada Ferrero
(Spagna), rispettivamente al secondo e al terzo posto.

2-year old fillies
The category of two-year-old fillies was split into two
groups, due to the high number of participants. In the
first group, the supremacy of the World Champion
EMANDORIA (Gazal Al Shaqab x Emanda da
Ecaho), bred and owned by Michalow (Poland), was
not challenged at all. Thanks to four 20s and the highest score in the day – a staggering 93.5 – no one could
really compete with her. This did not mean that the
quality of the other two top fillies was any lower. Her
half-sister and stable mate PISTORIA (out of Palmira
out of Monogramm), bred and owned by Michalow,
obtained the second place, whereas third was the daughter of WH Justice FER FIERA BLANCA (out of Clio
Fiera Blanca out of Bronnz) of Yeguada Ferrero. The
competition was extremely tough.
The winner of the second g roup was also from
Michalow, even though the feminine bay filly seemed to
be almost evanescent at first glance. EJRENE (Gazal
Al Shaqab x Emocja out of Monogramm) beat everyone
else, followed by the charismatic MYSTERIOUS
LADY J (Ekstern x Morning Light VF out of Bandos)
bred by the Polish line stud of Christine Jamar
(Belgium) and FER AQUA MAGICA (Abbas El Dine
x Martinique out of Ansata Sinan) bred and owned by
Yeguada Ferrero (Spain), second and third respectively.

(Psytadel x Padisha Ibn Estopa out of Ibn Estopa),
brede by Wrede (Germany) and owned by Hughes &
Carden. During his performance he seemed to be flying

Maharani HBN da AF Damaskus), allevato e di proprietà del britannico Ware, si dovevano accontentare del
secondo e terzo posto.
3-year old fillies
I primi posti tra le puledre di tre anni sono rimasti saldamente in mano tedesca. BA SWEET INSPIRATION
(Om el Extreem x BS Sanadika), allevata in linea diretta
con Sanadik El Shaklan, femminile e carismatica, dell’allevamento di Marlene Horn-Herbig, si imponeva sull’esotica figlia di Kubinec KHALEIFA (da Farids
Mandolin da Anaza El Farid), allevata e di proprietà
dell’Osterhof della famiglia Stöckle e su MAHALA (Al
Lahab x Mahasin II da Al Kidir), di pura linea egiziana,
dotata di una testa di estrema bellezza, allevata da
Susanne Reiter e di proprietà del Rabab Stud.
3-year old colts
Nella classe dei puledri di 3 anni solo quattro erano gli
iscritti. I giudici hanno dimostrato di avere preferenze
divergenti. Ottenendo una rivincita sui verdetti degli
show di Towerlands ed Aachen, il figlio di WJ Justice
AJMAN MONISCIONE (da Anthea Moniscione da
Padrons Ghibli), allevato e di proprietà di Giancarlo

owned by Ware (Great Britain), had to settle for the
second and third place.
3-year old fillies
The top places among three-year-old fillies remained
firmly in German hands. BA Sweet Inspiration (Om el
Extreem x BS Sanadika), bred in direct line with
Sanadik El Shaklan, a feminine and charismatic filly
owned by Marlene Horn-Herbig’s stud, won ahead of
the exotic daughter of Kubinec, KHALEIFA (out of
Farids Mandolin out of Anaza El Farid), bred and
owned by the Osterhof of the Stöckle family and of
MAHALA (Al Lahab x Mahasin II out of Al Kidir), a
filly of a pure straight Egyptian line gifted with an
extremely beautiful face bred by Susanne Reiter and
owned by the Rabab Stud.
3-year old colts
There were only four participants to the 3-year-old colt
class. The judges showed to have difference preferences.
Obtaining a revenge for the disappointing scores awarded to him at the shows in Towerlands and Aachen, the

Buzzi (Italia), dotato di un ottimo movimento e di un’affascinante testa con grandissimi occhi, si imponeva di
misura su LVA MAXIMUS (Espano Estopa x Challon
Salana da Camargue), allevato e di proprietà del
Lillyview Arabians (Gran Bretagna), di non minore tipicità edotato di un corpo corretto ma che in questa giornata ha fatto vedere una qualità di movimento non alla
sua altezza. Il terzo posto andava a EMENES (Emiratus
B x Yasmena da Menes), allevato da Jones e di proprietà
di Keen & Griffiths (Gran Bretagna).
4-5 year old mares
Dopo i concorsi dei cavalli juniores del sabato, la giornata
di domenica era tutta riservata ai seniores, ai Top Five e
ai campionati.
Nel gruppo più giovane delle fattrici di 4-5 anni,
PALANGA (Ekstern x Panika da Eukaliptus), la vincitrice di questa classe, otteneva esattamente lo stesso punteggio massimo del giorno precedente della sua compagna di stalla Emandoria. I sei 20, di cui due in tipicità e
tre in movimento, facevano sì che questa impressionante
rappresentante dell’allevamento statale di Michalow otte72 TUTTO ARABI

appearance who however did not move as well as he
normally does. Coming in third was EMENES
(Emiratus B x Yasmena out of Menes), bred by Jones
and owned by Keen & Griffiths (Great Britain).
4-5 year old mares
After the junior categories held on Saturday, Sunday
was entirely devoted to the senior classes, Top Five and
the Final Championship.
In the group of younger mares, those aged 4 and 5,
PALANGA (Ekstern x Panika out of Eukaliptus),
winner of this class obtained the same top score that her
stable-mate Emandoria was awarded the day before.
She notched up six 20s, two for type and three for
movement, which made it possible for this impressive
mare of the Michalow stud to obtain 93.5 points! She
was followed by the very exotic COL CORA (Wagner
x Catika da Mentik), owned by Yeguada Ferrero, born
in Italy at the “Il Colle” Farm, and M RANDY (El
GRAFIK

(El Sher-Mann x Shah-Xotic da Bey Shah), anche lei
allevata in Italia nell’allevamento del sig. Mauro
Benedetti e ora inserita da Martine Desphegel van Hee
(Belgio) nel proprio programma allevatoriale.
6-7 year old mares
Black is beautiful!! Un detto che si avvera troppe poche
volte, ma nel pronunciarlo, quasi sempre ci si riferisce a
AL ALIHA (DWD Tabasco x Gahari da Abha Harim),
il Power Package proveniente dall’allevamento Al
Hambra Arabians della famiglia austriaca Huber. Nel
ristretto gruppo delle fattrici di 6-7 anni con solo 3 iscrizioni, trionfava ancora una volta questa eccezionale fattrice morella, relegando con lo stesso punteggio al secondo posto EMESA (Laheeb x Etopka v. Eukaliptus), dell’allevamento e di proprietà di Michalow, e al terzo l’elegante ANGELIKAH (Mascat x Akbura da Balaton) di
pura linea russa proveniente dall’allevamento Lodge
Farm della famiglia Maxwell (Francia).
8-10year old mares
Per la soddisfazione di tutti i presenti il numero delle
concorrenti del gruppo delle fattrici di 8-10 anni era più
cospicuo, classe questa assolutamente impressionante,
nella quale gareggiava anche una vecchia conoscenza:
LOUBNA (Imperial Imdal x Imperial Kalatifa), la
Campionessa mondiale dell’allevamento Ariela Arabians
(Israele), da non molto tempo in comproprietà con l’allevamento Dion Arabians e Ajman Stud. Anche se la sua
condizione non era ottima, all’unanimità le sono stati
assegnati 20 punti in tipicità, un punteggio molto alto
negli altri criteri riportando, così, il massimo voto assegnato allo show: 93,9 punti. La vittoria quindi era sua,
anche se EMMONA (Monogramm x Emilda da Pamir),
allevata e di proprietà di Michalow (Polonia), ha tentato
il possibile dando prova delle sue capacità ottenendo 93,2
punti. Un’altra dimostrazione dell’eccezionale programma allevatoriale polacco veniva offerta da EMANDA
(Ecaho x Emanacja da Eukaliptus), la madre di
Emandoria vincitrice di classe della giornata precedente.

Una doppia vittoria tra les Grandes Dames dell’allevamento di purosangue arabi è andata a Michalow con le
due figlie di Monogramm EMBRA (Monogramm x
Emilda da Pamir), sorella piena di Emmona, classificatasi seconda il giorno precedente, e FALLADA (da
Fanaberia da Probat), ormai un’assidua partecipante agli
show di maggiore prestigio che sa conquistarsi il cuore
dei giudici e degli spettatori. Al terzo posto la fattrice che
alcuni anni fa aveva ottenuto molti successi, BINT
SHAKLINA HMP (AF Damaskus x ST Mars Shaklina

Sher-Mann x Shah-Xotic da Bey Shah), also bred in
Italy by Mauro Benedetti and now included in the
breeding program of Martine Desphegel van Hee
(Belgium).
6-7 year old mares
Black is beautiful!! This phrase is hardly ever true but
whenever it is uttered it is always referred to AL
ALIHA (DWD Tabasco x Gahari out of Abha Harim),
the ‘power package’ coming from the Al Hambra
Arabians stud of the Austrian Huber family. The small
group of mares aged 6-7 there had only three participants. The winner was once again an outstanding black

a straight Russian from Lodge Farm, the stud owned
by the Maxwell family (currently in France).
8-10 year old mares
To the joy of all those present, the number of participants to the impressive class reserved to mares aged 810 was larger and featured some old acquaintances,
including LOUBNA (Imperial Imdal x Imperial
Kalatifa), the world champion from Ariela Arabians
(Israel), now jointly owned by the Dion Arabians and
Ajman Stud . Even though her condition was not perfect, all the judges were unanimous in awarding her 20
points for breed and type! Loubna received a high score
also for the other criteria, obtaining the highest score in
show, 93.9. And so she was the winner, even though
EMMONA (Monogramm x Emilda out of Pamir)
bred and owned by Michalow (Poland) fought at her
best obtaining 93.2 points. Further evidence of the
exceptional Polish breeding program was shown by
EMANDA (Ecaho x Emanacja out of Eukaliptus)
who obtained the third place, being no less than the
dam of Emandoria, class winner of the previous day.
11 year and older mares
A double victory among the Grandes Dames of purebred
Arabian breed went to Michalow with the two daughters of Monogramm, EMBRA (Monogramm x Emilda
out of Pamir), full sister of Emmona, who won the
second place the day before, and FALLADA (out of
Fanaberia out of Probat), a regular participant to the
most prestigious shows, who knows how to win over
judges and spectators. Third was the mare that obtained
several successes a few years ago, BINT SHAKLINA
HMP (AF Damaskus x ST Mars Shaklina out of El
Shaklan), bred by Millard Lucena Pedulla (Brazil)
and owned by Nelio Tabago (Italy).
4-5 year old stallions
Before the lunchtime break, the first group of stallions
came to the scene. Everyone was eagerly awaiting last

Prima dell’intervallo entrava in scena il primo gruppo

Calyenna El Jamaal da Ali Jamaal), dell’allevamento
Mystik Arabians (Italia) e di proprietà di Yeguada
Ferrero (Spagna). Tra MA SHADOW ed ESPARTO
(Ekstern x Ekspozycja da Eukaliptus), allevato e di proprietà di Michalow, che poco tempo prima aveva vinto la
sua classe alla Nations Cup di Aachen, si è avuto davvero
un arrivo al fotofinish, considerando che erano gli ultimi
due concorrenti del gruppo. Shadow otteneva punti più
alti in tipicità, testa e collo mentre Esparto lo superava
nei fondamentali e movimento. Alla fine la differenza era
di 0,1 punti, e la Yeguada Ferrero si è portata a casa in
Spagna il titolo di vincitore! Il gruppo dei tre migliori
veniva completato da PERFECT DE LAFON (Padrons
Immage x Papouchka da Monitor), dell’allevamento e di
proprietà di Bertrand Valette (Francia).
6-7 year old stallions
Nel gruppo degli stalloni di 6-7 anni che seguiva,
RAMINO (Zandai Aqir x Egyptian Rabia da Ruminaja
Ali), uno stallone di pura linea egiziana di proprietà della
Yeguada Ferrero (Spagna), ribadiva la vittoria del suo
compagno di scuderia MA Shadow El Sher. Simile quasi
ad una scultura, otteneva da tutti i giudici voti eccellenti
piazzandosi davanti al carismatico BS SPECIFIC
(Sandstorm JC x Basara Saiyana M da Nebli), allevato in
Germania dalla famiglia Blutbacher. Uno dei due possenti figli di FS Bengali, proveniente dall’allevamento
Aja Arabians, si è aggiudicato un posto tra i primi tre:
AJA BEN RAJAH è nato da Oml Camila Estopa da
Camargue ed attualmente è di proprietà di Mrs. A Taylor
(Gran Bretagna).
8-10 year old stallions
Tra i concorrenti della terza categoria degli stalloni l’esito
della gara è rimasto incerto fino all’ultimo e Michalow
riusciva con il suo esplosivo GRAFIK (Eukaliptus x
Gaskonia da Probat) soltanto all’ultimo minuto a strappare la vittoria, già quasi conquistata, a QR EXCEL
(Magic Dream x Kouream de Ment da Kouros), dell’allevamento di Virginia Petta (USA) e di proprietà di
Yeguada Ferrero (Spagna). Per il suo carisma mascolino,
la magnifica testa dalla fronte larga e dai grandi occhi, la
perfezione delle orecchie, QR Excel esercita sempre un
gran fascino in quanti lo ammirano. Non meno spettacolare e sempre molto applaudito completava poi il gruppo
dei tre migliori SANDHIRAN (Sanadik El Shaklan x
China Moon da El Hilal) dell’allevamento Doug
Dahmen (USA), mandato in scena dall’allevamento britannico Aja Arabians.

he succeed in passing to the group of seniors? It was a
real ‘photo-finish result’ between him and another competitor, ESPART O (Ekstern x Ekspozycja out of
Eukaliptus), bred and owned by Michalow, recent
winner of his class at the All Nations Cup in Aachen.
Shadow obtained more points in type, head and neck
whereas Esparto beat him in the fundamenatals and
movement. Eventually, the difference was just 0.1
points and Yeguada Ferrero took the winner title to
Spain! The group of the best three was completed by
PERFECT DE L AFON (Padrons Immage x
Papouchka out of Monitor), bred and owned by
Bertrand Valette (France).
6-7 year old stallions
In the group of 6-7 year old stallions that followed,
RAMINO (Zandai Aqir x Egyptian Rabia out of
Ruminaja Ali), a straight Egyptian stallion bred by
Peter Stoessel (CH) repeated the victory obtained by his
stable-mate MA Shadow El Sher. Looking almost like a
sculpture when in standup position, the judges gave him
excellent scores so he was able to beat the charismatic BS
SPECIFIC (Sandstorm JC x Basara Saiyana M out of
Nebli), bred in Germany by the Blutbacher family. The
other stallion managing to obtain a place among the top
three was one of the powerful sons of FS Bengali from
the Aja Arabians stud: AJA BEN RAJAH was born
from Oml Camila Estopa out of Camargue and is currently owned by Mrs. A Taylor (Great Britain).
8-10 year old stallions
The results for the third stallion category was uncertain
until the end. At the last minute Michalow and its
explosive GRAFIK (Eukaliptus x Gaskonia out of
Probat) managed to pip an almost certain victory from
QR EXCEL (Magic Dream x Kouream de Ment out
of Kouros) bred by Virginia Petta (USA) and owned by
Yeguada Ferrero (Spagna). Thanks to his masculine
charisma, the excellent face with a large forehead and
big eyes and the perfect ears, QR Excel exerts an enormous charm over those who admire him. No less spectacular and always accompanied by applause, the third
best stallion in this category was SANDHIRAN
(Sanadik El Shaklan x China Moon da El Hilal) of
the Doug Dahmen stud (USA), presented by the British
Aja Arabians Stud.
11 year and older stallions
At the end of the individual competitions, three impressive Russian and Polish stallions competed for a place
in the final championship. In the end, the scores were
not that different but thanks to a bloody shoulder the

A conclusione dei singoli concorsi, tre impressionanti
stalloni di linea russa e polacca si affrontavano per l’ingresso al campionato. Alla fine i punteggi non di discostavano di molto ma si imponeva il simpatico FERNANDO (Monogramm x Frejlina da Pepton), dell’allevamento Michalow e di proprietà del Turban Stud
(Danimarca), come del resto già ad Aachen, seguito dal
vincitore del Derby KARAT (Aromat x Kaluga da
Aswan), nato all’allevamento statale russo di Tersk e di
proprietà di Atkin (Gran Bretagna), davanti al pluricampione PESAL (Partner x Perforcja da Ernal), dell’allevamento Bialka, da poco tempo di proprietà dell’allevamento olandese Klarenbeek Arabians.

Dopo la cerimonia ufficiale di apertura con l’esibizione
degli sbandieratori si avvicinava il culmine della manifestazione: l’assegnazione degli ambiti titoli di Campione
europeo e la nomination dei rispettivi TOP FIVE.
Dapprima si sono presentati, secondo la numerazione in
catalogo, tutti i cavalli classificatisi al campionato, eseguendo singolarmente un giro al trotto e poi esibendosi

The Final Championships / Top Five
After the official opening ceremony with the performance of flag-wavers, it was almost time for the climax
of the event, the awarding of the coveted titles of
European champions and the nomination of the TOP
FIVE. All the horses that classified for the championship entered the arena according to their catalogue
number, trotting around the ring once and then performing a final standup position in front of the judges and
public.
The title of Junior Champion went to the favorite
EMANDORIA from Poland. The title of Reserve
Champion came as a great surprise, as it was assigned
to a filly of the second row, MYSTERIOUS LADY J
from Belgium! Included among the Top Five were also
LADY AMONA, BA SWEET INSPIRATION and
KHALEIFA.
Among junior stallions, FEVER IBN ETERNITY-D
conquered the title of European Championship for
Belgium, whereas European Reserve Champion went
to Italy’s AJMAN MONISCIONE. The other Top Five
ribbons went to IM BAYARD CATHARE, ALERT
and LVA MAXIMUS.
The supremacy of Polish mares in the senior championship was undisputable, but the victory went to the host
country, more precisely to LOUBNA, the mare who had
obtained the highest score in the show! The new
in standup davanti ai giudici ed al pubblico.
Il titolo di Campionessa tra le fattrici juniores andava alla
Polonia con EMANDORIA. Con grande sorpresa di
molti la Campionessa Riserva veniva dalla seconda fila,
MYSTERIOUS LADY J per il Belgio! Tra i Top Five
entravano anche LADY AMONA, BA SWEET
INSPIRATION e KHALEIFA.
Per gli stalloni juniores, FEVER IBN ETERNITY-D
conquistava per il Belgio il titolo di Campione Europeo,
Campione Riser va AJMAN MONISCIONE per
l’Italia. Le altre coccarde dei Top Five andavano a IM
BAYARD CATHARE, ALERT e LVA MAXIMUS.
La sensazione di supremazia delle fattrici polacche nel
campionato seniores era netta, ma la vittoria è andata al
paese ospitante, avvero a LOUBNA, la fattrice che aveva
ottenuto il punteggio più alto dello show! La nuova
Campionessa Riserva Europea si chiama PALANGA
(Polonia). I giudici hanno inoltre scelto tra i Top Five
EMBRA e FALLADA ancora per la Polonia e COL
CORA.
Per Yeguada Ferrero sarebbe diventato un giorno sensazionale, visto che sia il titolo di Campione Europeo che
quello di Campione Riserva sono andati a stalloni provenienti dalla sua scuderia. Alla fine MA SHADOW EL
SHER si piazzava davanti a RAMINO, e il trionfo si
completava con il Top Five Award anche per QR
EXCEL. Gli ultimi due posti tra i Top Five andavano a
FERNANDO ed ESPARTO.
Il Campionato europeo di Moorsele ci ha fatto venire
voglia di vedere ancora di più e con ansia stiamo aspettando l’evento culminante dell’anno, il Campionato del
C
mondo. Arrivederci a Parigi quindi!

For the Top Five, the judges chose also EMBRA and
FALLADA from Poland and COL CORA.
This was an incredible day for Yeguada Ferrero, as both
titles of European Champion and European Reserve
Champion went to two of its stallions. Eventually MA
SHADOW EL SHER finished ahead of RAMINO,
and the triumph was completed with the Top Five
Award assigned also to QR EXCEL. The last two
among the Top Five were FERNANDO and ESPARTO.
This European Championship in Moorsele inspired us
in wanting to see more. We are now really looking
forward to the most important event of the year, the
C
