Later on that day, the disciples had gathered together, but, fearful of
the Jews, had locked all the doors in the house. Jesus entered, stood
among them, and said, “Peace to you.” Then he showed them his
hands and side.
The disciples, seeing the Master with their own eyes, were exuberant.
Jesus repeated his greeting: “Peace to you. “Just as the Father sent
me, I send you.”
Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them.
“Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said. “If you forgive
someone’s sins, they’re gone for good. If you don’t
forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?”
(from John 20).

skills and sportsmanship: Girls Basketball (Fall), Co-Ed Cross
Country (Fall), Boys Basketball (Winter), Girls Cheerleading

Catholic Communication Campaign
The Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) collection will
be taken at all Masses this weekend. Half of the proceeds
from this collection stay in the Diocese of Greensburg to
support local communications efforts, including The Catholic
Accent newspaper and diocesan website. Contributions help
continue the work of communicating the Gospel at home and
the world. During Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. the CCC
funds helped support live streaming of the papal events. This
enabled Catholics — and people of all faiths — to be part of
the pope’s visit remotely. For more information about the
CCC and other projects funded by the collection, visit
www.usccb.org/ccc. Please give generously, thank you.

We need your help!
Help make Vacation Bible School a success!
Adult volunteers (parents,
grandparents, young adults, senior
citizens) are needed to make the
program a success. Adults need to
have clearances on file with the
parish office. No special skills are
required! We need a few adults to
be in charge of pre-planned stations and several adults to
serve as crew leaders to simply guide and supervise the
children as they participate in the station activities.
There will be an informational meeting for adults
interested in helping this Wednesday, May 18
at 6:30 PM in the Church Social Hall.
Questions? Want to help but can’t be at the meeting?

Set All Afire: Why the Church Still Matters ($3 CD)
This one-of-a-kind CD includes seven segments,
approximately 10 minutes each, covering some of the
most important topics and questions in the Church today.
Taken from seven of our most powerful and popular talks,
these segments are sure to stir the soul and inspire you to SET ALL AFIRE
for love of Christ and His Church.
This Changes Everything ($3 CD)
Many religions make contrasting claims about Jesus.
Even different Christian denominations can’t decide what
they believe. So how do we know what’s true? In this
talk, Ken Yasinski gets the heart of the issue by looking
at what Jesus said about Himself and the impact this has
on us.
The One Thing is Three - by Fr. Michael Gaitley
($4 Book)
The "One Thing is Three" is written for everyone. The
conversational tone has an appeal that invites the reader
into the journey of life. I highly recommend this book for
anyone who loves the Church and seeks a deeper under
standing of her teachings. Filled with references to
Vati can II and Pope John Paul II, this book will enrich
your belief in God's plan of salvation, and your love of the
Most Holy Trinity.
