Revised Roman Missal
Part 4 of 15
In the bulletin, this weekend, you will find an insert on "Guide
to Unfamiliar Words in the Liturgy." The Church in the United States
is preparing to implement a Revised Roman Missal on the First
Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011. This is the fourth in the
series of information sheets explaining how the Roman Missal will
be changed to reflect more closely the original Latin texts. Please
take some time to review this information, in order that we might
more fully celebrate these sacred mysteries. If you have missed any
inserts from previous bulletins, one can be sent to you electronically
by email or you can request one in the parish office.

PARISH NOTES
Save the Date - Bethlehem Project 5K Run/Walk on
Labor Day
The Bethlehem Project of Blessed Sacrament
Cathedral will hold its annual 5K Run/Walk on Labor
Day, September 5, 2011. The race is one of the major
fundraising events for the Bethlehem Project. Please
mark your calendars as a day to participate, have fun
and raise money for those in our local communities who
need our help to prevent homelessness. The
Bethlehem race grows each year. In 2010 we had over
250 runners and are expecting even more this year.
We need T-shirt sponsors for the race. If you would like
to advertise your business or simply be a sponsor in
memory or in honor of someone, the Bethlehem Project
Advisory Board would appreciate your participation.
For information about sponsorship, please
call Sandi in the parish office,
724-834-3710, ext. 11, or email:
[email protected].
Registration forms for the race will be
mailed to all parishioners in July.
In Sympathy
We commend to your prayers the soul of Larry

his family.

Living with Christ This Week
July 30 & 31
Our Eucharistic celebration reminds us that
God is gracious and always supplies what we need.
The Old Testament readings for this week describe the
Hebrews’ celebration of God’s presence by building a
tent for meeting God and designating special feasts to
celebrate God’s presence with them. Jesus teaches in
parables that offer images to understand God’s
kingdom—the presence of God with us.
