sauces and dishes from "scratch", ultimately saving "prep" time and money.
I have spent time in developing these recipes that can be prepared during the off times and simply put together or
just heated up on the line during peak hours.
These recipes have been tried by our kitchen staff and tasted by our

customers and sponsors, and are proven to work. I invite you to try them

FESTIVALS
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Whitlock's Restaurant has been creating Food Festivals since its opening 4 years ago.
A completely new menu is designed, windows get painted according to the theme,
the staff dresses in appropriate
uniforms and selected musics reflect the atmosphere
of the Festival. Live entertainment
adds excitement and pleasure for the customer.
Our first Festival in 1992, "The Seafood Festival", Whitlock's Restaurant won the
Neptune Award for the best in Seafood merchandising.
Since then, many different
Festivals have been created, such as Italian, Caribbean, Spanish and New Orleans
Painted windows, decorations
and themed staff outfits make
Festivals.
Such events need long preparation
and lots of work. Competition is tough and this
is a good way to keep your customers excited through the slow season .

for your festival it is very important to experiment with new
recipes that will be featured. Offering them as specials will give you a "feel" and
direction for your menu design. This is also a means to generate excitement for your
regular customers, who then, will start the "word of mouth" local advertising. Your
