The demands on Ex-proof equipment construction have been changed substantially - European norms (EN) have adapted norms idt resp. modified IEC 60 079-.. (Gases
and vapours) and IEC 61 241-.. (dusts).
Most of the products of GENERI s.r.o. have already been certified according to new norms and have new designation Ex... instead of the older EEx... .

Application:
The explosion-proof stainless steel motor serves as a source of rotational movement
in areas with danger of explosion of flammable gases and vapours (e.g. water-oil
separators, mixing machinery etc.).
Motor design:
The motor is designed as flameproof with direct entry. The equipment consists of a
flange secured to a stainless steel welded body equipped by a cable gland of certified type. The motor and its gearbox is fixed inside the enclosure offering IP 68 h2m
(20 kPa) protection. MAXON brand reliable high-rpm motors are used as standard.
Custom deliveries with different types of motors are also possible with respect to
dimensions and technical specification stated below.
The flexible feeder cable is an inseparable part of the delivery and is permanently
attached to the enclosure.

Application:
Primary use of the lighting kit XEL 230V/3×24V/3×150W is in areas with danger of
explosion of flammable gases and vapours. You can use it to your advantage especially for lighting of confined conductive spaces (ČSN 33 2000-7-706) when working
in metal tanks and during cleaning operations or inspections.
Design:
The lifting kit is composed of two 50 m feeder cables with plug and latch, Ex-proof
socket box X58XST0, three portable, independently powered and protected floodlights 24V/150W and their feeder cable each measuring 15 m by standard. All the
cable lengths are possible to adjust if needed.
Fusing of the whole lighting kit is provided by connection to a power distributor in
non-Ex area – the system includes a combined current protector B 4 A/30 mA.

The distillation apparatus RP .. Ex is to be used for the recovery of organic solvents that have been
contaminated with various mechanical or chemical admixtures. The distillation separates the pure solvent
that may be used again for its original purpose. The advantage of this principle is acquisition of the
pure solvent whose properties are the same as they were when the solvent was used the first time. The
distillation cycle with the given volume of the solvent can be repeated limitlessly.

DESCRIPTION:
In the course of a number of industrial processes oil products often get mixed with water by chance which
is undesirable. These substances are usually diesel oil, petrol and heating oils. Water contaminated this way
is difficult to clean, especially if the viscosity of the substances is little different from the viscosity of water.
For the purposes of separating the surface stains of these substances the “Active Liquid Separator“ was
constructed on the basis of a unique mechanical-pneumatic separation principle.

If water is contaminated and oil stains are forming on the surface, it is not recommended to pump the
liquid as the mixing process occurs again and it is necessary to separate both the layers carefully. The active
separator of non-mixable liquids uses advantageously the low viscosity of the contaminating substance
and little adhesion to the equipment surface. The design is based on a rotating disk, situated at an
angle, whose working side is provided with a double belt spiral forming the letter “G“. The centre of the
spiral is a hollow cylinder with a perforated wall serving as a shaft and a hydraulic bell at the same time.
Owing to their surface tension oil substances tend to form stains on as large an area as possible and their
thickness is as minimum as possible. The effort is to reduce the forming of this layer as much as possible by
collecting it actively from the water surface and concentrating it in a minimum space, and thus the height
must rise. Thus conditions for successful separation are created.
The film collection is provided by the spiral situated on the lower side of the disk; entering the water
surface at an angle, and while rotating, it traps a certain surface into a narrowing space which moves
towards the centre where it enters the hollow shaft. While rotating it will trap a certain amount of air that
will form a bubble. This will pass with the trapped liquid into the shaft hollow, and owing to its pressure
impulse and the effect of the lifting forces of water the liquid layer will be separated into the collection
space through the openings in the hollow shaft.

Application:
Bush wiring is used in applications where connection between two parts of an
explosion-proof equipment is required, customarily between a flameproof enclosure
and its Ex “e” counterpart securing indirect entry of cables to the enclosure or connecting two independent flameproof units.
Design:
The bush wiring is designed and manufactured as Ex component installed into flameproof electrical devices. The bush wiring represents incomplete flameproof unit
with cylindrical or threaded casing (nickel plating available) and creates, along with
the wall of the electrical device, a gap of corresponding parameters.

Application:
Transformers type XTO are designed to supply low nominal voltage and they concur with SELV power
source requirements. It is possible to place them inside I M2 resp. II 2GD rated enclosures and install such
devices in areas with danger of explosion of flammable gases, vapours and dusts and explosives.
Design:
The transformer has loosely held primary and secondary coil conductors. They are connected to independent terminals or directly wired into contacts of components in Ex-proof enclosure. This device is not
protected against short-circuit so it is necessary to use fusing and surge protection equipment.
