First cruise-in of 2015 sees great display of Coast cars
Our May 9 cruise-in was a great way to start the
season. At one count, more than 100 vehicles of
all vintages, makes and models were there. It
was good to see new and old friends. We picked
up a couple new members, but mostly had a great
night of fellowship.

Membership Meeting
Cruise –ins – Our first one is May 9 from 6-9 pm
at Edgewater Mall. Setup at 5:15 pm, see
everyone there.
Welcome by club Vice President Cynthia Regan.
Craig and Jennie are in Norfolk, VA
Road trips:
Craig is researching trip to Infinity Science
Center/Stennis Space Center in Hancock County.
Afterwards cruise to BSL for lunch and shopping.
Plan for June. Other suggestions – Tail of Lizard
& USS Kidd
Car stories – Aimee got a 200 amp alternator.
Bob has complete car – will soon go to final
bodywork and paint. Noah Allen (7yrs old) got to
drive Mustang into shop. (It was being pulled by
Jim Allen) now he wants his own!
Club Apparel – See Bob after mtg if you need to
purchase any club apparel.
Minutes from April 2015 Mtg published in May
newsletter. Motion to accept by Chuck Schroeder
and seconded by Phil Hancock. Motion carried.
Club dues: - Are Past Due - If you have not paid
see Wayne after mtg.
Treasurer’s report given by Wayne Smith.

CTC Update – Bob handed out ballots for
volunteer of the year. Bruce and Amie were
nominated. After votes were counted Bruce
Greenwell was selected to represent MCMC for
CTC Volunteer of the Year.

coast and is the south's largest and premier car,

Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention

June 20 Covington, LA First Annual Street
Rod & Classic Car Rally Lakeview Regional
Medical Center will be hosting there first annual
street rod and classic car rally open car show
June 20th 2015. All proceeds will benefit the St.
Tammany Alzheimer's association. It will be held
at Lakeview Regional Medical Center 95 Judge
Tanner blvd. Covington La. Registration will be
$25.00 the day of the show. Registration is from
8:30-11:30 am judging is from 11:30-1:30 and
awards at 3:00. Awards for top 25 cars , top 25
trucks, the Lakeview Regional Medical Center
award, best of show award and sponsor awards.

June 13 Kiln, MS Third Annual BBQ Cook Off
& Classic Car Show "The Friends of McLeod
Park 3rd Annual Classic Car show is being held in
conjuction
with the annual BBQ cook off at McLeod Park in
Kiln, MS. The shady grounds of the
park combined with great barbeque, music and
beautiful cars all make for a great day.
People's Choice, 50/50, dash plaques and door
prizes all add to a day of relaxation. Kids and
grand kids are welcome to enjoy the new Splash
Pad. All funds are designated for playground
equipment for the park". Registration begins at 8
and awards at 3.
