As part of the Men’s Day Weekend, all men (young, old and in-between) are
invited to be a part of the Men’s Open Forum Breakfast on Saturday, June 20
from 8:00 – 11:00am. Please sign up to attend this FREE event at the
Information Center or the website under “Event Registration.” For additional

Men's Day – Sunday, June 21, 2015 – 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. All men are
invited to participate in the Sunday Worship. The suggested attire is dark suit,

Men's Day Choir 2015 – Inviting all MEN! Un der the dir ection of Tevin
Price. Final rehearsal is Saturday, June 20th @ 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, June 21st following the 10:45 a.m. Service, an End of School Year
Celebration will be held in the MBC parking lot. All children are invited (we ask
that children are accompanied by an adult) to come out, have fun and enjoy
moon bounce, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones, face painting, balloon artist,
hamburgers and hot dogs. Rain or Shine. The parking lot will be blocked
off. Drew School's parking lot will be available as well as street parking. See
the attached flyer for additional information.
SHARE distr ibu tion day is Satu r day, Ju n e 27th fr om 6:00am —
8:45am in the Multipurpose Room. Extra hands are always welcome to help
assemble the SHARE packages.

Macedonia will participate in a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of
Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, June 27, 2015,
11:15 a.m. We will meet at 9:15 a.m. at the Visitor’s Center to pick-up tickets to
ride the trolley to the tomb. There is a fee to ride the trolley; however, there is
no fee to ride the MBC bus. You must sign up at the Information Center for
both and pay accordingly.

Membership & Spiritual Development
The 4th Sickle Cell Sabbath will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Wakefield
High School at 9:30 am. Blood donations will be received in the cafeteria.
Please sacrifice and give of yourself by donating blood for sickle cell patients
who require multiple blood transfusions. Please sign up to donate blood after
service on Sunday in the Narthex or online www.mbcva.ws under
Event Registration. This year , ther e w ill be m or e em phasis on
preparation for the donations. Be a blessing to those who suffer much pain
with this disease.

The Foreign Missions Ministry will be accepting donations for the month of
June (flip flops). The donations will support Macedonia’s Foreign Mission
Ministry efforts in supporting a partner church in the Dominican
Republic. A receptacle will be in the Narthex to receive your donation.
GUESS WHAT? Old Navy, for tomorrow (6/20) only will have $1 flip flops,
limit 10/person + first 50 people at every store get 1 pair of free flip flops, so
hurry in! See store for details.

Sunday, July 5th, we will be celebrating Pastor Hamlin's birthday. There will be
a receptacle in the Narthex to place birthday sentiments/cards. The membership is invited to join Pastor Hamlin downstairs after service on July 5th for
light refreshments.
The Daily Devotionals for June, July and August are available for purchase at
the Information Center.

Terrill Dorsey with the Washington Mystics is inviting a group from MBC to
the Verizon Center for the 2015 Mystics’ Faith Night! See the attached flyer
for all the detail. Reserve your seat at the Information Center. If you have
additional questions, please contact Min. Janice Clarke.

The worship service with Hartswell Baptist Church, 10559 River Road,
Lancaster, Virginia 22503 on Sunday, October 18, 2015 will require a
commercial bus because of the distance and travel time. Ushers, Choir,
leaders and members are asked to accompany Dr. Hamlin who will bring the
preached word for Hartswell’s 146th Anniversary. Hartswell Baptist Church
will serve dinner prior to the 3:00 p.m. worship. The cost for a seat on the
commercial bus is $25 round trip. Reserve your seat with full payment at the
Information Center.
If you plan to drive, will you please let the office know how many will be
traveling with you so that we can give Hartwell a count for dinner.

On Saturday, November 14, 2015, we are going back to the Sight and Sound
Theater to see the Miracle of Christmas!! Join us, as we go back in time to
follow the extraordinary journey of Mary and Joseph and witness the greatest birth in history, the miraculous birth of Jesus the Savior!
There is plenty of time to make plans to join us and we have an extended
period to make your payments so start early. See the attached flyer with all
the details of the trip or speak with MIT or Deaconess Pittmon or Bro. Nate
Giles. You may reserve your seat at the Information Center.

The Event Planning Ministry is still looking for servants to be a part of this
Ministry. If you are interested in assisting with the planning of all MBC

The Arlington County Police Department Third District Team announced a
2015 ACPD Safety and Community Awareness Event that will take place on

Bible Study Schedule
7pm
Each 1st Wednesday is Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouraged and
invited to attend.
Every 2nd Wednesday of the month Pastor’s Bible Study is open to everyone.
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month Pastor’s Bible Study is open to everyone.
Each 4th Wednesday is Young Adult Bible Study.
The 5th Wednesday of each month is Leadership Night. All leaders of MBC will
meet with Pastor Hamlin.

Parents, while you are in service or performing ministry, please be mindful that you are
responsible to know where your children are at all times. If you permit them to leave you
for restroom breaks, etc., they must return to you at an appropriate time and not be left
unsupervised. We appreciate your cooperation.
