District Board vacancy.
The Delta Conservation
District (DCD) Board of Supervisors is soliciting applications from persons interested in serving as an appointed Supervisor on the
Delta Conservation District
Board and filling the remaining term of the current
vacancy. The open vacancy
term is fulfilled in May
2016. Conservation District
Supervisors have important
roles as local conservation
and agricultural leaders to
effectively nurture the wise
use of our natural resources
and promote our agricultural heritage. Supervisors
are unpaid elected or appointed officials who have
legal responsibilities and
duties.
The
supervisors
must be local landowners
(or their designee per CRS
35-70-107) and serve as
volunteers. The District
Board meets monthly on
the 2nd Monday of the
month at the Department of
Agriculture
building
in
Delta. Interested persons
may submit a letter or email
of interest stating that. Letters must be received by

drivers and backup drivers,
cashier, greeters, sorters
and electronic testers, office/clerical, events volunteers and working with children. Some volunteer opportunities may require special training and background checks. Volunteers

The kitchen can be shared.
Baking or cooking with the
stove is $10 extra. Large
parties or dances require a
$150 deposit. Reservations
and keys are available at
the Hotchkiss Library during regular library hours,
Mon.-Thurs., 10 am-6 pm.
