Remove the seat and left hand side
panel.

Prop the fuel tank in the upright
position.

Remove the airbox lid by disconnecting the two hooks on either side of the
airbox (Fig A). Unscrew the bolts on
either side of the rear of the airbox or
just lift up to remove the air box.

Disconnect the two hoses going to the
airbox.

Remove the velocity stacks by turning
them counter-clockwise and lifting up
(Fig B).

Remove the bolt on the underside of
the airbox (Fig. C).

It may be necessary to drop the radiator from it’s upper mounts to access
this bolt.
Remove this bolt

The airbox can now be moved out of
the way.

Route the PCIII harness underneath
the left hand frame tube as in Figure
D and go towards the front of the
bike.

Using the supplied zip ties secure the
PCIII to the left hand frame tube
(Fig. E).

Secure the PCIII harness to the stock
wiring harness using the stock band
clamps.

Unplug the stock connectors from the
injectors (Fig F). Release the spring
clips to remove each connector.

Unplug these connectors
**Do not discard spring clip.
**Do not mix up the stock front and
rear connectors.

Plug the connectors from the PCIII inline of the stock connectors (Fig G).

The ORANGE colored wires from the
PCIII go to the front cylinder
The YELLOW colored wires go to the
rear cylinder.
Reinstall spring clips.

Unplug TPS harness
This connection is located on the left
hand side of the front throttle body.

Wire tap

Using the supplied wire tap crimp it
on the ORANGE wire of the TPS
harness (Fig. J).

Connect the GREY wire from the
PCIII to the wire tap (Fig. J).
It is recommended to use dielectric
grease on these connections.

Locate the Throttle Position Sensor.
Unplug the stock wiring harness from
the TPS (Fig. H).

Connect the TPS harness back on to
the throttle body.

Attach the ground wire from the PCIII
to the negative side of the battery
(Fig. K).

Reinstall airbox and bodywork.
