ROCKY MOUNTAIN
The 2012 Rocky Mountain Airshow
Building on 32 years of aviation events in Colorado, Colorado Sport Aviation (CSA) is planning a spectacular “Walk Through
Time” in the air and on the ground. There will be a living history comprised of a number of the nation’s premier flying vintage
aircraft, both military & civilian, along with the nation’s best collections of military vehicles and re-enactors in a pyrotechnic
remembrance of America’s battles for freedom.
National aviation vendors will be showcased on the expanded main ramp midway providing unparalleled access to attendees
and runway/taxiways. The Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In at the event hosts hundreds of aircraft from around the country,
national aviaton vendors and thousands of pilots looking to see the latest aviation products and services. Enjoy an outstanding
food selection catering to a wide variety of tastes and dietary needs will be on hand.
The Adventure Zone is also slated to inspire today’s youth through aviation. Through hands-on activities, inspirational speakers
and numerous opportunities to get their feet in the air, excitement will abound! The significance of math and science is emphasized in a manner that connects the visuals of discovery and science-based television with real world interaction.

Supporting the Rocky Mountain Airshow = Partnering with a Community
About Colorado Sport Aviation
By joining one of the hottest aviation events in the country, you get the maximum return on your investment with a captive
audience of more than 30,000 at a spectacular aviation, education and community based event located at the foothills of the
majestic Rocky Mountains. “Colorado Sport Aviation’s business plan is brilliant” noted Allan Lockheed, Jr., “Bringing so many
aviation non-profit organizations together to help put on the event is ideal.” The Rocky Mountain Airshow is quickly becoming
the gathering place for the aviation industry showcasing national and local aviation manufacturers, academies and enthusiasts. “When Participating with CSA, you’re actually partnering with an entire community,” stated Jim Cimiluca, CSA President,
“The list of aviation manufacturers, local non-profits and youth based organizations participating at the event continues to
grow year after year.”
CSA Mission Statement
Colorado Sport Aviation, Inc. is dedicated to providing general aviation opportunities for both at-risk & gifted and talented
students by offering aviation education programs, flight training scholarships, introductory flight experiences and hands-on
construction/technology seminars.
History of the Organization
In 1979, The EAA Rocky Mountain Regional Fly-In began as a dream for a handful of Colorado aviation enthusiasts. Growing
in scale and scope, the event has seen a number of venues from Longmont, Greeley and Watkins and now the rich and vast
metropolitan Denver community itself. During this time, opportunities for aviation organizations have grown as well. Today,
the showcase Rocky Mountain Airshow is seen as the premier aviation event in the Denver area. Our reputation has advanced
each year with more and more groups identifying this as the “must be there” event of the year.
