some of R-M’s best selling CTR clears:
R-M’s Traditional Clears
DC5100 CTR™ Clear is the fastest R-M clear for covering the entire vehicle, drying
in just 10 minutes at only 120°F.
R-M’s best selling clears for overall jobs produces a superb high gloss by air-drying or
baking and meets the needs of a wide variety of shops.
DC5120 CTR™ Fast Clear is the fastest drying R-M Clear for spot repair and up to
two panel repairs.
DC5335 Glamour Clear is a two-component, high build, acrylic that is recommended
for baking (120°F to 140°F) and produces a very glossy, durable and chemicalresistant finish.
DC5300 CTR Clear is an extremely high solids, super-fast, high-gloss clear that dries
in just 10 minutes at 180°F or 20 minutes at 140°F.
DC98 2.0 VOC Clear is a two-component, acrylic urethane clear. With its excellent
flow and leveling characteristics, you never need to worry about post flow or sagging.
R-M’s Specialty Clears
Collision centers and custom shops need specific clears for day-to-day or custom
work. R-M clears meet the needs of collision centers and custom shops throughout
North America.
DC5775 Ultra Flat Clear is a two-component, acrylic urethane clear that produces an
ultra flat and durable automotive finish for custom and collision repair work.
DC100 Jammin’ Clear is a fast-drying, ready-to-spray clearcoat ideal for use in
doorjambs, under hoods and on cut-ins.
DC5600 CTR Production Clear is a fast-drying, two-component, acrylic urethane
that is used for one-to-three panel repairs. It is dust-free in 15 minutes and fully cures
in 10 minutes at 120°F.
DC5800 Low VOC CTR Clear is formulated to meet even the most strict VOC regulations.
For spot repairs to one-half vehicle, DC5800 is dust-free in just 20 minutes and buffable
in less than two hours with air drying.
DC5900 Low VOC Pre-Flexed Clear is a two-component acrylic urethane clear that
can be used for spot and panel repairs and overall applications. It does not require
the use of a flex additive when applied over plastic surfaces.

Primer – The choice of a primer is based on different requirements such as repair
or restoration work, size of area to be repaired, speed of dry, etc. R-M’s primer
portfolio meets the requirements of collision repair centers and custom shops, from
a small repair to a full restoration job.

R-M® undercoats and support materials bond with coordinated chemistry to ensure a
long-lasting repair that matches the quality, appearance and durability of the original
factory finish. Only by using the complete R-M Diamont® system — from undercoat
to basecoat color to clearcoat — can you ensure a top-quality, enduring repair.
Undercoats are divided into several product groups according to their function in a
paint system (e.g. adhesion promoter, sealer, etc.) or technology (e.g. epoxy, polyurethane, etc.). R-M offers a complete undercoat assortment that fulfills the needs
of any collision repair center or custom shop.
Adhesion Promoter
Bare metal or plastics can be difficult to finish if not properly prepared and treated
with the right adhesion promoter. R-M offers a variety of adhesion promoters for
plastic or bare metal substrates. For example, DE17 Etching Primer can be used for
most bare metal surfaces prior to using a primer. R-M also offers 1K (R-M 868 and
R-M 869 – low VOC) and 2K (R-M 870 – low VOC) adhesion promoters for plastics.
R-M 822 is formulated to promote the adhesion of R-M’s basecoat/clearcoat system
to factory-applied, cured finishes.

R-M AERO-MAX® aerosol has everything you need for quick jobs: clear, primers,
blacks and pre-cleaner. You can shoot a quick spot of primer over a bare metal
