The following are descriptions of our new home standards. Each home has unique plans which offer further explanations to
help you with standards and selections. The following outlines our standards and some suggestions for the Wrightwood
Park Place homes. Suggestions for extras are noted with a “*” and/or are also on the sample plans. We look forward to
discussing these with you in person and making any clarifications that help make this house your home.
General Features
• Entry: The front door makes a strong first impression. We have selected a custom door with
antique seeded glass (which is more than double our standard $1,500 for the typical door and
hardware selection).
• Landscaping: Front yards are designed to be elegant but low maintence with bushes and
ground cover. Side yards to be ground cover or woodchip and rear yards will be sod and a
few select shrubs. Parkways feature an existing or new tree plus sod.
• Front yard fencing will be 4-foot wrought iron with gate. Rear yards will be secured by
stockade fence and gate to the alley.
• Each brick home features double-wall construction insulation to R-30 in attic, R-13 in walls,
vapor-barrier house-wrap, two high efficiency furnace(s) and two 75 gallon hot water heater,
hot water circulators, programmable thermostats, double glass thermo-insulated windows,
tight seal doors and other energy efficient features.
Gourmet Kitchen
• Cabinets in a choice of color or style. Paramount Homes has selected a slightly antique or
New England white on white style. Custom kitchens were designed and built by Abitare
(www.abitare-inc.com) located in the Luxe Home section of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.
These custom plans are available upon request. These hand-made cabinets include roll out
bottom drawers, easy open corner cabinets, built-in trash, spice rack, custom islands and
many other convenience features.

• Accent lighting – Over cabinet and under cabinet.
Living, Dining & Family Rooms
• Natural oak flooring – select or better with two coats of stain and double coating of quality
sealers.
• 2 gas fireplaces in living and family room.
