The Aruba Convention Bureau is at your service free of
charge. Take advantage of our in-depth knowledge of hotels,

to give that memorable, authentic “sense of place” experience
with a taste of the island’s history and culture infused into your

Arikok National Park
This restored fort and clock tower is a proud symbol of Aruba’s
national heritage. Built in 1868, it once served as both a
lighthouse and public clock tower, and now houses the Aruba
Historical Museum. The courtyard hosts the island’s Bon Bini
(“welcome” in the local Papiamento language) Festival every
Tuesday, and would also be a fitting locale for your group’s very
own Bon Bini welcome party.
Our island’s national park, which spans 34 square kilometers,
contains examples of most of Aruba’s flora and fauna.
The park’s Visitor’s Center complex, built with South American
hardwood, has a wrap-around veranda that would be an idyllic
setting for an event with a backdrop of breathtaking vistas of
Aruba’s dramatic geological complexity and beauty.
National Archeological Museum

Located in the heart of downtown Oranjestad in a complex of
buildings dating back to 1870, the museum is a harmonious
merge of the past and present, exploring Aruba’s cultural and
ethnic heritage in a colorful collection stretching over 4000
years.
The facility is ideal for cocktail receptions, and there is also an
on-site auditorium perfect for presentations and seminars.
This new event area, situated at the beginning of downtown
Oranjestad, was recently inaugurated by Her Royal Majesty
Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and the Royal Family. The
Tourism Plaza serves as the anchor for the Aruba Linear Park,
which upon completion will be the largest of its kind in the
Caribbean.
The courtyard-style plaza can accommodate large groups with
unlimited potential for creativity and scope.

Dining Out
Aruba’s diverse culinary options abound, with world-class
dining as well as local “crioyo” experiences in settings from
chic and contemporary to quaint, casual, and authentically
Aruban.
Many of our restaurants cater to groups, and have onsite

Aruba’s perfect weather sets the stage for just about any
activity you can dream of under the sun. Set sail and coast
our crystal clear waters on a catamaran or sailboat chartered
just for your group, rally the troops for an exciting off-road
Jeep excursion or an easy-does-it horseback trail ride through
the Aruban countryside. Nature lovers will enjoy a morning of
bird-watching at the Bubali Bird Sanctuary or an afternoon
of kayaking the calm waters of the Spanish Lagoon. Those
seeking some physical stress relief can hike to their heart’s
content on the 20 miles of trails in our Arikok National Park, set
out on a mountain bike expedition, or even learn to windsurf in
just a couple of hours.
And if shopping is your game—get ready, set, go! Aruba has
some of the biggest names in fashion and jewelry—from Lous
Vuitton and Gucci to Cartier, Coach, and Rolex—so your group
can shop till they drop!
