Report of POOL CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE
of SHRIRAM GROUP HELD at SAFFRONY on
13th and 14th April 2016
Shriram Group (Chennai) once again conducted Pool Campus Drive 2016 at
Saffrony Institute of Technology campus on April 13th and 14th for positions
of Management Trainee with package of Rs.2.16 Lacs, to be placed
anywhere across their 800 branches pan India – open for ALL Branches.
Pool Campus Registrations:
Out of 493 (almost 500 registrations), 135 students appeared for the
process. Students from many colleges especially VGEC did not turn up on
13th April despite having registered through their TPOs, owing to academic
submissions and other reasons. Out of 135, there were maximum
students from Saffrony – 75 students who participated.

Online Written Aptitude Test :
A total of 135 students from 8 Institutes’ Open Pool Campus appeared for a
One Hour Written Online Aptitude Test in three batches at Saffrony Institute of
Technology’s Computer Lab. Participating institutes were Ganpat (UV Patel),
GPERI, Sankalchand, LDRP, Sigma, VGEC, GIT and Saffrony Institute of
Technology.
43 students cleared the Online Written Test, out of 135 students.
Pre – Placement Talk 13th April :
Mr. Manish Agrawal (HR Manager) and his colleague from Chennai had
conducted the Shriram Group Open Pool Campus and had a Pre Placement
Talk with students who had cleared the written round.
Personal Interviews – Preliminary Round 14th April :
Out of 43 students, 17 candidates cleared the first interview round held at
Saffrony premises on 14th April 2016.
Final Interviews – At Shriram Group Ahmedabad Branch Office 15th April :
Out of total 17 students in the FINAL round, only 7 students cleared Final
Interview conducted by their Managing Director via Skype Video interview on 15th
April at their Ahmedabad office.
Selected and Placed:
Out of 7 students, 3 were Saffrony students, and 1 each from LDRP, Sankalchand, GIT
and VGEC were selected. Joining will be in June/July after GTU result declaration.
