About the Networks
Launched in 2005, Television Korea 24, Inc., (”TVK24”) operates two networks, TVK and TVK2.
TVK is the first 24-Hour Korean network available nationwide as a digital basic cable service, and the networks
specifically programed to meet the needs of Korean viewers living outside Korea. TVK services the first generation
Korean-Americans.
The second network, TVK2 is available in Southern California, New York, New Jersey & Hawaii Islands and more
geared towards offering programming to the 1.5 and 2nd generation Koreans.
TVK24 creates the most entertaining experience for its viewers and has built the best widest platform for
advertisers and general viewers. We will work hand-in-hand with you in a truly collaborative effort, drawing
upon our in-language expertise to tailor your message for the Korean-American community. We look forward
to serving your needs to our fullest ability and helping you connect with the Korean-American communities.
Distribution
TVK & TVK2 are distributed by International Media Distribution (”IMD”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast
NBCUniversal, a leading provider of single language and multi-ethnic television programming. TVK is available
throughout the United States on Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Charter Communications
and many other video service providers.
Programmed by Korean-Americans for Korean-Americans
TVK24 is headquartered in a state-of-the-art production facility in Los Angeles, California, home of the largest Korean
population outside of Korea. TVK24 is able to draw from a large pool of talented staff, themselves members of the
Korean community, to help stay in close contact with the information and entertainment needs of their viewers.
The majority of TVK’s news, variety and music programming is produced in-house, while entertainment shows
and drama series are acquired and aggregated from outside suppliers including the hightest quality productions
from Korea.
