In Minnesota, it’s only slightly better: 80 cents. •Women in union jobs do better than that: Women in union jobs truly get equal pay for equal work. •In fact, women in union jobs do even better than better. Women in union jobs make more than men in nonunion The good things they don’t tell you about unions ... jobs – on average, $59 a week more. That adds up to more than $3,000 extra income each year. That’s what workers can achieve when we stand as a union and get things done together that we can’t accomplish on our own.
