Experience, Explore,
& Enjoy Niagara Parks
The vision of Niagara Parks is to preserve
a rich heritage, conserve natural wonders,
and inspire people world-wide. Its mission
is to protect the natural and cultural
heritage along the Niagara River for the
enjoyment of visitors while maintaining
financial self-sufficiency.
From its inception in 1885, The Niagara
Parks Commission has operated in a
self-sustaining manner, as it receives no
operational funding from the provincial
government. Every dollar you spend at
Niagara Parks helps preserve the nature
and heritage of the Niagara River corridor.
