Siitem Kamus BahasaIsyarat elektronik adalah suatu cadanganpembarryunan
sistem untuk membantu tenaga pengajar, ibubapa dan sesiapa sahaja yang ingin
mempelajari bahasaisyarat untuk berkomunikasi bersama dengan orang yang kurang
upaya dari segi pendengaran.Sistem ini akan dibangunkan terutamanyauntuk tenaga
pengajar bagi memudahkanprosespengajaranmereka di sekolahkhas. Memandangkan
bahasa isyarat berbeza dari satu negara ke negara lain, saya telah memilih bahasa
isyarat Malaysia untuk membangunkan sistem saya supaya ia boleh digunakan di
sekolah sekolah khas di Malaysia. Dengan membangunkansistem ini, saya berharap
panduanyang baik dapatdisediakanuntuk mernbolehkantenagapengajar sekolahkhas,
ibubapa dan sesiapa sahaja mendalami bahasa ini dengan mudah. Projek ini
dibangunkan dengan menggunakanmetodologi prototaip evolusi dengan pendekatan
fasa rekabentukberstruktur dan permodelanrajah data aliran. Antara perisian - perisian
yang akan digunakansemasapembangunansistem ini ialah PHP 4.1.1, Macromedia
DreamweaverMX 20004 dan Microsoft SQL Server. Selain itu, kategori laporan yang
dijana adalah laporan berstatistik yang ditunjukkan melalui graf. Kesimpulannya,
pembangunan sistem ini adalah untuk meningkatkan tahap pendidikan sekolah lhas
Johor Bahru.

ABSTRACT
The Sign LanguageDictionary Systemis proposedto help thosewho are keen in
learning the languageto have the ability to communicatewith the less fortunate 'special
communities'..This system will be developed targeting mainly for teacherswho will
have to manually access a dictionary or parents who
are finding difficulties
communicating with their special children. Since sign languages differ from one
country to another, I have chosen Malaysian Sign Languageto work on the system so
that it can be used in national schoolsof the deaf, By developingthis system,I hope
there will be a good guidance for parentsand teachersas mentionedearlier to masterthe
languagein a short period of time. Besidesthat, the systemcould be also utilized by
everybody who is willing to leam sign language be it to help the needy ones or as a
matter of interest. This project will
be developed using evolution prorotype
methodology and structuredprogramming approach.The softwarethat would be used in
the development process are PHP 4.11, Macromedia Dreamweaver I\D( 2004 d,an
Microsoft SQL Server, Statistical Report would be generatedin the form of a graph. As
a conclusion, Sign Language Dictionary System is developedto improve the learning
processofthe chosenschool.
