We have chosen
a mix of building
materials that
are well-suited to
exposed seaside
locations.
Our Good Night
Guarantee ensures
we will take a
proactive approach
to managing the
new hotel.
Our plans include a separate
access for deliveries. Premier
Inn hotels require an average
of two deliveries per day.
Deliveries will be made during
the day time to minimise
disturbance to our guests and
neighbours.
Our plans include 80
car parking spaces,
including 5 on-site
disabled spaces.

Site location plan
We have placed the hotel and
restaurant building to the east
of the site providing frontage
onto Albion Terrace and
Royal Crescent.
The hotel entrance will face onto the
Promenade. Customer vehicles will enter the
site from a new entrance on Albion Terrace
Our plans include a dedicated service yard for
our goods vehicles that will be accessed via
the car park.
The siting of the building protects
the sea views and amenities of
adjacent occupiers.
The positioning of the building
reinforces the building line along
the sea front and provides some
of the bedrooms with sea views.

A well-designed new hotel and restaurant
In summary, the proposals include:
• A five storey hotel building, with the same number or storeys
as surrounding buildings but will be smaller in height
• A traditional design suitable for the location
• A ground floor Brewers Fayre family restaurant with a terrace
facing onto Royal Crescent and overlooking the beach
• 80 on-site car parking spaces positioned to the west of the
site which makes best use of the site area and
beach view
• Design features similar to neighbouring propeties including
bay windows, stone corner detailing, a pitched roof and strong
vertical elevations.
We have liaised closely with planning officers at East Riding of
Yorkshire Council during the design process. All of the proposed
building materials have been carefully chosen to complement
the surrounding area.
Car parking will be provided around the
perimeter of the site

Creating quality year
round jobs
Whitbread employs more
than 45,000 people and
the business is expanding.
We will start recruiting
approximately 3-4 months
before the site opens.
The Bridlington Premier Inn and Brewers
Fayre restaurant will create approximately
50 new jobs in a variety of roles.
All of the jobs will be permanent yearround positions.
Whitbread has committed
to creating 10,000 new jobs
over the next five years as
Premier Inn and Costa grow.
16-24 y/o
Targeted recruitment at
those not in education,
training or employment especially16 to 24 year olds.
We will work with the local Job
Centre Plus to ensure the job
opportunities in Bridlington are
marketed to local people.
We are a flexible employer and offer
our staff a range of shifts to suit their
availability. This is very popular with
our staff in other hotels.
We create Winning Teams and
better leaders by investing
significantly in training and
development programmes to help
our people build their skills
and careers.
