Mr. McArthur is a Managing Director in the Western
region of CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC. He specializes
in the valuation of closely held corporations,
undivided interest appraisals, intangible assets,
partnerships and professional practices. Mr.
McArthur provides valuations for a variety of
purposes, including, estate and gift tax purposes,
shareholder disputes, employee stock ownership
plans (ESOP), financial reporting, and restructuring
purposes, amongst others.
He also provides
litigation support and expert witness testimony in
relation to business and intangible asset valuation.
Mr. McArthur comes to CBIZ Valuation Group from
Strategic Valuation Group, LLC (SVG) where he was
a Principal and oversaw the company’s business
valuation practice.
Prior to joining SVG, Mr.
McArthur held positions in the valuation and litigation
support practices of Desmond, Marcello & Amster
and Business Enterprise Appraisal Company, Inc.
Mr. McArthur also worked in the investment banking
departments of Webush Morgan Securities and
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. McArthur received his Bachelor of Science
Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis
in Finance from the California State University at
Northridge. He earned the Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and
is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in the
discipline of business valuation from the American
Society of Appraisers. Mr. McArthur maintains
memberships in various organizations including the
CFA Institute, the American Society of Appraisers,
the Institute of Business Appraisers, and the CFA
Society of Los Angeles.
