The Singapore National Women’s 7s will be sure to face off stiff competition
especially being pooled with the current ARFU Women’s 7s Champions
Japan, India and Uzbekistan.

The team earned their current 6th placing from last year’s ARFU Women’s
7s Series Championship and hope to finish at least in the Top 4 category.
The Women’s Rugby 7s will be played from 30 September to 2 October
together with the Men’s Rugby 7s.
For many of whom, this will be a first in representing Singapore for the Asian
Games. The squad features three existing players from the team of 2010
Asian Games - Samatha Teo, Wong Yilin and Wang Shao-Ing. The wealth of
experience from these players will be sure to help the team in their Asian
Games performance.
