And More Downtown!
There's so much happening in the Heart Of The City during July and August, I hope everyone is
ready for all the fun coming their way. We have our annual events that include the Blues Festival
(4th of July weekend), the Rib & Chili Cookoff (8/3), our Art, Wine & Brew Festival (8/30 to 911), and
we're adding a new night of musical fun on Friday August 23rd in Town Square! We also have our
Farmers' Market taking place every Saturday along the 300 block of Main Street plus our
Wednesday Lunch Time Fun musical program in Town Square. The Creekwalk Concert Series
continues every Friday through August 16th in Andrews Park as well.
The Blues Festival is wrapping up a wonderful 4th of July weekend in that on Thursday, the 4th
of July, Fireworks and a CCR tribute band will be taking place in Andrews Park and on Friday night
irs the normal Creekwalk Concert night with the band Hip Service. Then on Saturday and Sunday
we move all the fun over to Town Square for the Blues Festival with lots of great entertainers. Our
headliner for Saturday night is the fabulous Tommy Castro and the Painkillers at 7 pm. Music
happens all day long on Saturday starting at 10 am and going to 9 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
There's more information on the line up inside this newsletter. Check your calendars now and get
ready to join in on the fun this July and August. As Downtown
Merchants these events will be bringing thousands of great
visitors to the Heart Of The City and they will be ready to
spend their dollars. This is a wonderful opportunity for
everyone to host an open house or have specials for
everyone to enjoy.Please keep your doors open and welcome
all our visitors to our wonderful Downtown and events!

Blues Festival
4th of July Weekend!
On Saturday July 6th and Sunday July 7th the Blues will be playin' in Town Square .
This is one of the best line-ups ever for our event! On Saturday evening we have a
fabulous band performing ...Tommy Castro and the Painkillers! We are very pleased to

Art, Wine &Brew Festival
August 30th to September 1st
This annual event is bringing some great talent and music to
Downtown over the Labor Day weekend. The return of some of our
favorite acts like the "Sun Kings" (Beatles) and award winning
singer-song writer Cindy Alexander will make this a wonderful
event along with a wide variety of other acts. Music starts 10 am
on Saturday and runs to 9 pm and on Sunday we start at 11 am
