How to repair broken wires close to
cable entry point.
Broken wires here
Hacksaw through case
either side of wires. Lift
casing and remove
Slide cable entry along
wire.
Cut wire and remove
Hacksaw either side of cable entry.
Drill hole 4mm diameter in cable entry
Remove insulation
from one wire and
tin with solder
Before soldering. Slide
heat sleeve big enough to
go over 2 wires along
sensor wire. See slide 6.
Slide wire size heat
shrink onto wire and
solder to tinned wire
Shrink sleeve to first
soldered wire
Solder second wire.
Shrink heat sleeve.
Slide large heat
shrink over both
repaired wires
and shrink.
Slide cable entry back into
place
Remove this piece.
Make good with epoxy resin
Fitted to car and working
