Arnold K. “Arnie” Altsuler brings a wealth of
experience and knowledge to Yancey-Hausman
Interests, Inc. in Houston, Texas. Altsuler graduated
from The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA
degree, and furthered his education by obtaining a
Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of
Law in Houston.

For almost 40 years, Altsuler has been involved in
the brokerage of investment properties as well as
various areas of development, including his
acquisition and redevelopment of a major portion of
the office and aircraft hangar space located at William P. Hobby Airport.
Following Houston’s economic collapse of the 1980’s, Altsuler was
among the first land developers to reenter the residential lot development
business. He continued in land development well into the 1990’s until
taking the position of President and CEO of Coldwell Banker Commercial
Uptown in 1997. He served in that position for approximately ten years
before leading a group of investors in the acquisition of YanceyHausman Interests, Inc. in early 2008.
Along with land development and professional consulting, Altsuler has
represented clients in both the acquisition and disposition of owner
occupied business facilities as well as investment purchasers of multifamily apartments, office buildings, and retail shopping centers.
Additionally, he has first hand working knowledge of Internal Revenue
Code # 1031 tax deferred property exchange provisions.

President
Craig Hausman brings over 38 years of
commercial real estate experience to the table.
Hausman’s experience includes joint ventures and
partnerships involving more than 125 individual
investors.
Hausman’s accomplishments also
include the leasing efforts of over 500,000 square
feet of office space with a myriad of additional
square footage from the leasing of industrial and
retail spaces.
Craig also represented a large group of investors
in the refinancing of office properties totaling over
$40,000,000 and implemented the financing for dozens of additional
projects. His background also includes acquisition projects including
the planning and implementation of over $200,000,000 worth of office,
retail and industrial properties, representing over $40,000,000 in equity
with returns in excess of 18%.
Hausman has been involved in directing the careful growth of YanceyHausman to the point where the firm now manages and leases over 2.6
million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties.
“There’s not much we can’t do,” says Craig Hausman, who established
Yancey-Hausman, the successful full-service real estate company in
Houston over 37 years ago with partner Bill Yancey. Craig, who
attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, specializes in
property management, tenant representation and corporate marketing
efforts. He takes pride in the knowledgeable staff dedicated to bringing
the company successfully into the future.
