The project aims to launch the project cogeneration plant to produce electricity and heat, and
pellet production in Ogulin. This project creates three output products: electricity, heat and
pellets. Obtaining the status of eligible producers of electricity, produced electricity would be
placed directly into the power grid, while the thermal energy is partly used in the process of pellet
production and partly placed within the economic zone in Ogulin.
The total investment includes two related entities whose investment value is around € 8,000,000
If we consider that the annual revenue around € 5,000,000, and that the annual costs of
approximately € 3,000,000, then we return period of approximately 4 years, which is an
extremely fast return on overall investment.
The above investments are based on the following funding sources:
own funds – around 3.000.000 EUR,
credit/loan – around 4.200.000 EUR,
grant – around 800.000 EUR
Form of cooperation with potential investors see in the form of foreign investment in
this project, whereby the investor provides the ability to write to the project as a coowner, or by appointment.

separate locations. We are among the three largest importers of glass in Croatia, and we buy it
from the world's leading glass manufacturers from different parts of the world (Pilkington,
Glaverbel, Guardian...). From 5 January 2004. own quality control system ISO 9001:2000.
Structure of ownership
Since its foundation till today, the company is 100% in Croatian private ownership.
Company managed by Mr. Robert Kos and Mr. Vinko Huzjak, in a joint partnership. Mr. Kos is
responsible for the financial and commercial sector, while Mr Huzjak supervises the production,
planning and development.
Financial Analysis
Because of its direct connection with the situation in the sector with construction, Gorica Glass
Company Ltd. in 2009. realized a decline in the quantity of delivered product, and financial
results
Total revenues amounted to 6,6 million €, a drop of 17% compared to 2008. year.
Total expenditures were also reduced, mainly due to austerity measures, and amounted to 6
million €. With a reduction of 14% from a year earlier, it is obvious where they come from worse

before. Liquidity indicators are very favorable, and outline a very high level of liquidity of the

Production facilities are the production of electricity and heat, and pellet production. The basic
raw material for the production process is the biomass. Biomass is a renewable energy source
that includes firewood, branches and wood waste from forestry, and sawdust, bark and wood
waste from wood industries and straw, corn, sunflower stalks, remnants of the pruning of vines
and olives, pitted cherries and peel apples in agriculture, animal manure and residues from
livestock, municipal and industrial waste. In our case it is a forest / wood biomass.
The entire production can be explained as two related processes, and in the following way: part
of the forest biomass is used as input for electricity production. Energy, in which release large
amounts of heat. Electric energy intend to reach the electric network, according to the
preferential price by a specific law on the purchase of energy produced from renewable sources,
while a heat used for drying other works of biomass, from which we produce pellets. In this way
maximum use all forms of energy obtained in the production process.
Our business is manufacturing glass comprising: insulating glass production, glazing and
erection, then a variety of glass processing such as grinding, drilling, production of laminated and
bulletproof glass, sandblasting glass, glass bending. Also, we are reselling glass, moldings for
picture framing, sales tools, machinery and equipment for processing and manipulating glass.
Previously noted the market condition is reflected in the state sales and total sales experienced a
decline of some 18%. In 2008. , total sales amounted to approximately 6,540,000.00 € while in
2009. amounted to 5,200,000.00 €. The structure of the market selling completely dominated by
domestic sales. Export participates with a negligible 0.2% and is carried out by customers and
partners in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The product range consists of the company's processing and sale of conventional glass,
insulated glass, and offers various services related to the processing of glass, regardless of
whether the same was bought in Gorica Glass Company Ltd. In comparison to 2008. the share
from a range of products in total sales has not significantly changed. A slight increase in sales
has made the insulated glass, which now stands at nearly 6% of total revenues compared to the

previous 4%. Sell glass still makes 65% -75% of sales while various processing services make
up 30% of sales.
Today Gorica Glass Company Ltd employs 42 staff of which 7 women, average age of
employees is 33 years. Of the total number of employed people only 5 are administratively part

Gorica glass company Ltd. owns property in Ogulin, and it is a production facility the size of
12,000 m2, situated on a plot size of 25,000 m2. On the property is located a complete
infrastructure, substations, and even the railway lane. With this investment we want to revitalize
this property and start a business that would best suit the said measure location.
