Association Parade at 12noon. Sign up if you

Competition on Sunday, November 22nd at
4:00pm at Tara High School.

The studio will be closed December 21st January 3rd for the Christmas/New Year’s
Holidays.
It was a first for us, but WDC represented in a grand way on Saturday, October 31 as our Fly
girls and Legends in the Making performed during the annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival held at
LSU. This event is always very well attended with over a thousand in attendance. Participants
included local elementary schools, high schools, studios and other community based teams.
Our teams worked very hard and showed outstanding poise, charm, professionalism and
attention to detail as they performed. Please help me congratulate our Legends in the Making
as they placed 2nd in the competition. WE are extremely proud of them and also our Flygirls.
Special thanks to our faithful coaches, and our very devoted parents and staff. Please see the
pictures below from this event. We look forward to participating in this event next year!

Dance Company Studio Team! Youth Fitness
classes have been full of energy! Classes are
every 2nd & 4th Saturday from 9am-10am
and are free for ages 5-12 years. The primary
goal of the classes is to shape our young
people into becoming healthier individuals
physically, mentally, and spiritually! Your

Studio News
Special thanks to each of you who donated items
during our Dance Pink Campaign this year. Every year in the
month of October, WDC decorate the studio, students dress in
pink and we collect items (monetary included) to benefit women
who are faced with this dreadful disease.
Statistics show that one in eight women will be diagnosed with
breast cancer in her lifetime. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women, and it is the second leading
cause of cancer death among women. Please be reminded that
early detection is the key.
We are so very thankful that we were able to make a difference
by donating items to benefit women in our community who are in
need. Our thoughts and prayers go out to families and friends
dealing with Breast Cancer.
