Mount Pinatubo Spa Adventure
We are offering a very unique spa adventure. The PDC (Pinatubo Development Corporation) Spa Town has been developed in
the village of Sta. Juliana, Capas Tarlac. Sitting in an area just about totally destroyed in the explosion of the Mount Pinatubo
volcano in 1991, this spa takes advantage of the natural surrounds, and is also used as the jump off point for trips to the crater
and lahar areas. The rolling hills and the mountain ranges provide the backdrop for this wonderfully relaxing place. We offer
two options one with a full spa treatment and the other with a 4x4 adventure to the hot springs added. We also offer a trek to the
Crater with a Spa experience afterwards. .
Spa option: When we arrive at the PDC Spa town those who have chosen to take the spa option will take an approximately 30
minute walk around the village and surrounding countryside. Amidst the green hills and panoramic views you will see stretches
of rice fields and other crops. Here most of the farmers still plow their fields using Carabaos, a cousin of the water buffalo.
When you return to the spa the pampering begins. The Spa option includes a 30 minute volcanic ash spa with your choice of
either a sulfur or salt spa, count in 30 minutes in the mud pool for a full body mud pack. The final pampering is the Spa’s
signature massage. The “Pina-thai-tsu” is a unique combination of a traditional Thai massage with that of a Shiatsu massage and
a few local massage techniques added in.
4,000 per person
The 4x4 “Trekers” will board 4x4 vehicles after we arrive at Spa Town. They will depart Sta. Juliana and travel to the small
Aetas ( a local indigenous tribe) village of Tatukan. This approximately one hour ride will take you into areas unreachable by
most vehicles. You will be able to experience travel in the lahar areas of the volcano, travel up now dry riverbeds, and marvel at
the scenery. Upon your arrival at Tatukan you will have an opportunity to enjoy the mud bath and hot springs there. Return to
The Spa and enjoys a 30 minute Volcanic ash spa with your choice of either a sulfur or salt spa, count in 30 minutes in the mud
pool for a full body mud pack. The final pampering is the Spa’s signature massage. Lunch included

MT. Pinatubo Crater Trek and Spa. A couple of years ago a “trail”, called the skyway, was cut that would allow 4x4’s a
shorter route to a drop off point to trek to the crater. The skyway opened up the crater to an hour and fifteen minute 4x4 ride and
a 45 minute to 1 hour trek. The trek itself is not a stroll through the park but does not require any great physical fitness level.
Seeing Photos of the crater with its lake can not prepare you for the stark beauty and contrasts that you will see in front of you.
The sheer cliffs, the vegetation covered mountain sides along side areas of bare volcanic rock, The 2.5 Kilometer Lake that sits
inside the crater with its shores sometimes gentle, sometimes rough. Last fall a typhoon destroyed portions of the trail. After
much hard work, the skyway has been repaired and reopen to the public. We are proud to introduce the full Mount Pinatubo
Experience. Our experience includes :Round trip transportation from Subic Area, 4x4 Vehicle transportation to hiking trail,

Animal Trainer Adventure
What are the skills you need to become a good animal trainer? You must understand and be able to apply the techniques of
positive reinforcement, which is what we use at Ocean Adventure. You must be a good teacher, because training is teaching.
You must be a good student, since there's much you can learn from the animals. You must be patient, consistent, creative, and
flexible. You must develop a bond with each animal based on trust. And most of all, you must love what you do and never stop
growing. Experience one of the most exciting careers in the world. Seahorse Tours and Ocean Adventure offers you the
opportunity to be an Animal Trainer. Sign up for this unique program and you’ll work side-by-side with our trainers and faceto-face with our whales and sea lions. You’ll help prepare their food, participate in training sessions, enjoy a Whale Encounter,
and even be a guest trainer in the whale show. You’ll spend time in our laboratory and learn about our animal care program, and

Mount Pinatubo Crater Trek and Spa Adventure
The eruption in 1991 of Mount Pinatubo was one of the largest eruptions in history. The damaged affected the
lives of hundreds of thousands of people and the effects of the ash cloud circled the earth. The volcanic
eruption and two typhoons that entered the area when the volcano was erupting turned the breadbasket of the
Philippines into desolate waste land. The social and economic effects are still being felt, but the natural healing
is well on its way. The area is a contrast between the dust and lahars in the scarcely vegetated flats and river
beds to the lush mountains sides with young trees and other cover. The transition between the two is dramatic
with signs of massive erosion and towering cliffs. For the last decade dedicated hikers could trek to the
mountain crater. It involved either days of hiking or hours of 4x4 travel followed by a 2 hour hard hike. A
couple of years ago a “trail”, called the skyway, was cut that would allow 4x4’s a shorter route to a drop off
point to trek to the crater. The skyway opened up the crater to an hour and fifteen minute 4x4 ride and a 45

Gung Ho Adventures
Been watching too much of the ”Survivor” on TV? Maybe you have worn out your DVD’s of the Rambo movies? Here is a group
of activities tailored to you! A day that is a combination of weapons and survivor training deep in the jungles of the Philippines,
but only minutes from the comforts of civilization. Get a good night sleep and an early start for this day.
You can start your day with target practice. Choose from Rambo’s old
stand-by a M-16 or maybe the colt 45. Many military and police units are
now favoring the 9mm. Usually a bit smaller than the .45 and with less of a
kick, it is a very powerful handgun, the range also has the 9mm that you can
rent. . The range is located out at the old Navmag area.. As early as 1904,
with the first large scale arrival of US marines, The jungles of Subic Bay
have been used to train military in survival techniques. In the 1960’s with
the escalation of the Vietnam War, the jungles value as a training area was
greatly enhanced. The US military relied on real jungle experts, the Aetas.
The Aetas are a nomadic mountain tribe who has lived in the area for
centuries. During the Vietnam War and afterwards, the Aetas taught their
skills to US military including Marines, Navy seals and Special Forces units
at the Jungle Environment Survival Training (JEST) Camp When the US
military departed the Philippines the JEST camp was converted to teach non-military students. Under the SBMA, The Aetas still
teach at the JEST, and act as jungle guides and forest rangers. The next
objective introduces you to the Aetas. Travel to the Binictican district and
the Pamulaklakin forest trail. Your Aetas guide will take you along the
trail pointing out the animal and plants along the route, including tips on
survival techniques. The highlight of the hike will be seeing how the
Aetas have lived for the last few hundred years many of them still living
like that today, a nomad tribe living in the jungles of Subic Bay.
After your hike into the jungle, head for the Cubi-Triboa district stopping
for a fast lunch along the way. The next gung ho task is the slide for life
located at the extreme adventure park. The highlight of this park is the
Canopy slide also knows as the slide for life. Here participants, slide from
tree to tree in a harness and a system of metal cables. Starting from
platforms 15 to 35 meters above the ground they slide distances from 30 to
almost 500 meters through the forest. The series of slides gives you a
thrilling view of the jungle from very unique perspectives. Those who are not up to the challenge of the slide can take the canopy
swinging bridge. The bridge follows the same route as the sliders but closer to the ground.
Your last stop is the JEST, which is located only 200
meters away. Tailored to ego-tourism the camp offers
courses in survival training as well as classes in local
fauna, and guided hikes into the rain forest. You will
get to explore the Jest camps many exhibits and have
additional survival training. You however do not
have to search too hard for food as your search for
food will find a Filipino dish called “Luto sa
Kawayan” cooked in Bamboo consisting of chicken
and pork served with rice.. A sunset you will watch
thousands of bats fly in the air in search of food, The
really Gung Ho can arrange an overnight stay in the jungle.
Gung Ho Tour includes: hand gun rental with 40 rounds, (M16 upgrade and additional
rounds available), range instructor, range fees, jungle hike, Slide for life, Jest Camp
entrance fee, Lunch, survival demonstration , tour guide, and transportation. Please note
that the order of events may change and weapon selection must be made 24 hours in
advance.
Mini Survival Training includes above except the firing range and it has a shorter hike.

Mini Survival Training
Discover the World and Yourself
Discover Dive program
Para-sailing
This is a day of activity that you will challenge yourself and the way you look at the world. It consists of two activities that
may seem a little challenging but immensely rewarding.
Discover Scuba Diving
Millions of people each year enjoy the thrill of scuba diving, while millions of others just wish about it. While scuba diving
generally requires extensive and expensive training, it is possible to experience the thrill without the entire training
program. A program called “Discover” diving allows an individual with basic swimming ability to experience it. The
program is relatively simple and takes around three hours. A certified instructor will give an hour long lesson to up to two
students. The lesson covers some basic fundamentals of diving and simple task that must be learned before diving followed
by some pool or shallow water practice. When the instructor and student are comfortable that the task can be performed, it
is off to a shallow wreck or reef. Different dive shops have their own favorites; some of the most used locations include the
El Capitan wreck, Lighthouse reef, Barges wreck and a few near shore reefs. The Instructor will give you a detail
explanation of your upcoming dive. It will include what you will be doing and how long you will dive. The layout of the
dive site will be described for you as well as suggestions of what to look for. When at the site, the instructor will help you
put on your equipment, perform a buddy check and have you enter the water. When ready you will descend with the
instructor. When at the bottom you will once again practice the skills you perform earlier then it is of to explore the
undersea world. You will generally spend about 30 minutes or more exploring the dive site, side by side with your
instructor. Diving at Subic Bay is a wonderful experience; the bay has a nice variety of wrecks and reef sites and a variety
of marine life. Includes transportation and a dive T-shirt from Seahorse Tours Collection.
Para-Sailing
The second part of this adventure is parasailing. In contrast of seeing the bay at fish eye view, see the bay at birdseyes
view. Parasailing gives a different view then you are used too. Standing on
the back deck of a speeding motorboat, your chute is opened and you are
lifted up into the sky. The boat is equipped with a parasail inflation system
and hydraulic winch powered by the main drive engine to launch and
retrieve the Parasailor from the flight deck, located in the rear of the boat.
Parasailors are strapped to a body harness assembly, which attaches to the
parasail canopy, which is connected by rope to a hydraulic winch mounted
on the towboat. When the boat is at speed the chute is opened and the
Parasailor lifts off. At the end of the ride the Parasailor is winched back
aboard. Most people who have tried parasailing say that it should be on your
list of things to do in your life. Includes transportation if required.
Please note: that these Special Programs have a limited availablity , reservations are
required. Activites can be scheduled on different days.
Day with the Mammals
Who said education has to be boring. Add a little education about
mammals and conservation to your vacation. This tour combines
three of the most popular attractions located in the jungle around
Subic Bay Freeport. The Zoobic Safari brings exotic wildlife to
the Philippines. The major draw is the tigers and the tiger safari.
Here you enter safari jeeps to travel into a Tiger habitat. The
jeeps are enclosed with a wire mesh to keep the sharp teeth and
claws of the tigers out of the guest. And they do get close.
Snakes, lizards and other similar animals are also available for
viewing and there is a petting zoo with many different types of
animals. A recent addition is the crocodiles, 200 plus of them. If
you like, you can feed them. You can get a fishing rod with parts
of chicken attached. Just lower it and try to be faster than the
crocs.
Next stop will be Ocean Adventure. The Ocean Adventure Park is a very good
introduction to marine conservation using large marine animals. The leading stars of
the shows are the False Killer whales and the dolphins. Performing a number of
times a day, they entertain the crowds with feats of acrobats and their swimming
ability. After the show stop by The Sea Lion Training Center, home to the 9 South
American Sea Lions. Come see where they live, work, and play. Catch a training
session or watch our talented sea lions express themselves on canvas in the Sea Lion
Painting Session. then come on down to the Nautilus Theater and watch two of the
South American sea lions perform. This delightful show, perfect for all ages, shows
you what it takes to be a member of the Sea Lion Marine Patrol. It's filled with lots of
action, and a strong environmental message. In between the laughter and fun, there's
a lot to be learned.. The park also has small aquarium that shows some of the marine
life in the Philippines: Bright colors, Strange shapes, Mysterious creatures. Welcome
to the world of Discovery Aquarium. Explore the fascinating waters of Subic Bay
and the South China Sea - without getting wet. Inside the air conditioned Aquarium
explore many habitats and the amazing animals that live in them - fresh water
streams, mangrove forests, coral reefs, and deep, dark caves. Discover actions you
can take to protect these fragile marine environments. Insure you also visit the WIN
(Wildlife in Need) area that cares for injured animals from the surrounding areas.

The Nightcrawl
Filipino’s love music and many are very talented. Every year thousands of Filipinos travel to other Asian
countries as musicians and singers. In the navy days musicians looked upon Olongapo as almost a Mecca. The
many clubs offered opportunities that were unmatched in any other part of the Philippines. If a band was lucky
enough to get a gig at a club on the base and the sailors like them, they might get a contract to tour military
clubs around Asia. Olongapo’s music venues have been the breeding grounds for some of Asia’s best
entertainment. Magsaysay drive is the center of it, then and now.
The Nightcrawl is an adoption of the British tradition of the Pub
Crawl. A Pub crawl is a tour of some of the historical Pubs in London.
In this version we will take you to some of the nightlife along
Magsaysay Drive. The tour departs from the Seahorse Tours and
Souvenirs store at 8 pm. With your guide you will visit 4 local clubs
spending about an hour in each, three have live music and one is a
comedy club. A drink is included at each location. (Order the clubs are
visited may change due to group size) A three-minute walk will bring
us to the first stop, the Hard Rock Café Subic, Not apart of the world
famous nightclub chain it is still a local favorite. The club represents itself as Pizzahaus and Restaurant but
most people come for the entertainment. Known for its entertainment, the “Hard Rock” features two bands
each evening. The bands may have different styles but play mostly soft rock music from a number of different
decades and current top 40 hits.
The second stop is the Brad’s Bistro a newly open club in May 2006,
which is off to a flying start. Owned by the same group as Willis Concert
Bar it shares many of the same features of that club. There are two bands
nightly playing back to back supported by a state of the art sound system
and light support. The club is a little on the small side but that adds to the
feeling of being involved and close to the bands.
Willis Concert Bar is the third stop, as the name suggests, Willis has
concerts nightly. They feature two bands nightly with about ten different
bands a week. Each band has it own style but it safe to say that they are
all very good and play a variety of music. The third sets are mostly request. Willis also has state of the art
lighting equipment. The lighting adds an additional element to the club and enhances the overall experience.
The bands, lighting and sound equipment raises this club above the others with live music.
Jax Comedy Bar is the place for Olongapo’s up and coming
comedians. A continuous show with between three and five
comedians alternating their time on stage with stand up
comedy, songs and audience participation. The majority of the
performers are gay, as are most that do stand up comedy in the
Philippines. While gay humor is predominate the performers do
a good job of adjusting the content to the audience, and are
sensitive to the subject matter if children are in the audience.
The club also features a few top quality female
comedians/singers.

worked together to make the community not only livable, but also the best in the country.
Hell ships Memorial (S) – The Hell ships Memorial is dedicated to all the Prisoners of
Wars (POWs) on all the Hell ships. As the inscription on the Memorial says, these heroes
came from different homelands, different backgrounds, and different circumstances – but
all were courageous and patriotic men whose lives were drastically altered and, in many
cases, ended during their terrible journeys on the Hell ships. More than half a century
later, many of these men lie beneath no headstone or other marker, their bodies
impossible to recover from their watery graves. This is the only Memorial many of these

held. It also has the Subic Bay International Tennis Center where tennis lessons are also

Subic Bay International Airport (R) – The SBIA boasts a runway of 2,700 meters and
state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Because of this, the SBIA ranked second
throughout the Philippines in terms of cargo and freight handling.
Beach areas (R) - All Hands and Dungaree Beach have features for all types of folks:
miles of fine sand and calm waters for picnickers, spectacular corals and underwater
fauna for divers and snorkelers, mysterious sunken wrecks for history aficionados, even
choice spots for a relaxing afternoon of fly fishing.
Subic International Raceway (R) – SIR is a 2.8 kilometer circuit built over an unused
portion of the Cubi airport. It has been the venue of both local and international motor

Diving at Subic Bay
Subic Bay offers a number of easy to reach dive sites. The majority of the diving at Subic Bay is done on the
artificial reefs created by the many shipwrecks within the Bay. These wreck sites offer the diver a wide range of
experiences. Wrecks give the diver the opportunity to reach back in time to touch the personalities that each of
these ships had. Most divers just enjoy the reef and marine life that has taken over the ships while others with
wreck penetration experience may want to venture inside. Subic Bay itself, being a deep water but protected
bay, brings its own attributes to play also. On the one hand, Visibility is not always that good within the bay,
but on the other hand the conditions that keep visibly less than great such as protection from strong waves and
currents does allow an extended dive season. Many of the sites are located in coves around the bay providing
additional protection from the elements. Our coral sites are healthy with many at over 50% coral cover and a
wide range of small marine life.
What to Expect?
Virtually Current free diving on over a dozen shipwrecks in the depth range of 5 to 35 meters, abundant small
marine life, additional reef sites, short boat rides to the dive sites, experienced dive masters on each dive,
