Technical / Audiological Information
The two-section housing design in the STYLE Slim
permits easy exchange of the top part of the device
allowing a range of colors for your customer. There
are up to 8 colors available within the design line.
The STYLE Mini and STYLE Power have a 2-color
special coating that gives a visually leaner and
more elegant impression.
Good hearing for kids has its own world of color.
Designed especially for pediatric acoustics,
HANSATON offers additional child-friendly colors
for STYLE Power.

The innovative i-com technology automatically synchronizes the settings of both hearing systems continuously. The individual wearing the hearing system
experiences binaural matching with balanced sound,
has optimum intelligibility of speech, and can
localize sound sources significantly better than
with independently working hearing systems.
i-com configuration has three types of coupling for fitting available.

Sound Impulse Management.
STYLE BTE systems (except for Power) also offer
the option of conventional open fittings. The cosmetically inconspicuous mini-tube allows high-frequency hearing losses to be compensated optimally. Low-frequency portions of the signal reach the
eardrum in the form of direct sound. This prevents
occlusion.
The OPEN formula can also be used to make an
First Fit calculation for the hearing system setting.
This formula has been specifically developed for
open fittings. This formula takes account of individually-measured open loop gain (OLG) in addition
to the hearing loss itself.
Fitting range of the various hearing systems.
Pulse-like signals such as tableware clattering, paper
rustling and doors slamming, for instance, are experienced as extremely annoying by individuals who wear
hearing systems. Previous algorithms intended to
eliminate noise are most effective when the noise
signal is continuous. Sound Impulse Management was
specifically developed for the detection and effective
reduction of pulse-like noise signals for this very
reason. Use of this technology results in a pleasant
volume level at all times without adversely affecting
speech intelligibility. Reduction of pulse-like signals
leads to improved overall acceptance of the hearing
system.
