industrial map. FKCCI under the leadership of

complimentary and supplementary efforts for
the growth and development of the state.
Last Word
Karnataka has emerged to be one of the most
industrially developed States in India. The State
has all it takes to stand out in India’s industrial
map and the Government of Karnataka should
continue focusing on development of industries,
trade and service sectors. The State Government
has to reassess the challenges thrown forth due
to global economic recession, the falling rupee
and the rising inflation to promote economic
growth of Karnataka and sustain the momentum
in the marathon race of developing Karnataka’s
economy.
Shivakumar is confident that through FKCCI’s
continuous programme for major development
in the districts much can be achieved. Efforts
have always been made by him and his team,
to have regular interactions with the Presidents
and Office Bearers of all District Chambers of
Commerce and Industry and other Associations
in the districts, towards identifying the critical
needs of the trade and industry. He has always
sought active participation of the members in all
the programmes of FKCCI, to make it a grand
success. Shivakumar has always had a quality
innings in the many roles he has played so far
and has set the bar higher for many more.
His guidance while organizing exhibitions,
trade shows, buyer-seller meets and catalogue
shows for the benefit of FKCCI members and
Karnataka will always be remembered. Under
his leadership the balance sheet of FKCCI has
maximized. He is an important facet of the
Karnataka Vision program.
