Power Design’s training center brings our Best Practices to life. The center includes 11 hands-on Best Practices exhibits,
allowing employees to step into the pages of our Best Practices iPad app and get comprehensive, hands-on training. PDI
launched its Best Practices website and app nearly four years ago, and now through this experiential learning center, we’ve
taken it to the next level.

APPRECIATION at Work
Our events team continues to make their way across
the country, bringing food, fun and surprises to job
sites in all of our regions! It’s PDI’s way of saying “thank
you” not only to our rock star project teams, but also
to every trade working on site.
Recent stops include a trip to South Florida to visit
the teams at Privé and sls Lux, to the D.C. area to
visit The Blairs and ORE 82 (82 I Street), and to the
Westin Vue job site in Sarasota, Fla. Each job site visit
included a special catered lunch by a local favorite
(and even some delicious gourmet food trucks!) and
special raffles for cash prizes and gift cards.
We look forward to continuing to visit more job sites
throughout the year and beyond, bringing more
surprises and fun!

For the first time ever, Power
Design took over Tropicana
Field, home of the Tampa Bay
Rays, for this year’s Power
Outage event, turning it into
a PDI Party Zone!
Employees from Power Design
and Power Design Resources
gathered at the Trop in St.
Petersburg for this family
event, with more than 1,000
in attendance!
This event had it all – from
an epic employee dodgeball
tournament to a whiffle
ball contest, giant trike
races, video games, bounce
houses and inflatables, and
everything in between!

Special Operations Warrior Foundation
Power Design provided sponsorship at the Special Operations
Forces Industry Conference for the Special Operations Warrior
Foundation, an organization providing educational counseling
and financial assistance for the children of special operations
personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty as well as
financial assistance to wounded special operations personnel.
Honor Flight of West Central Florida
Power Design volunteered for and donated to “Mission 25” of
the Honor Flight of West Central Florida, an organization which
brings WWII veterans who have never seen the WWII Memorial
in Washington, D.C. to the site for the very first time.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Power Design donated $50 to St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital for each of Spencer Pigot’s 109 laps at the recent St. Pete
Grand Prix race, making a total donation of more than $5,000!
Pigot made his debut at the race, sporting Power Design’s “Decide
to Drive” logo on his race car throughout the Grand Prix.
